Unicycle Club Practice at Circus Center

Any skill level is welcome (even if you’ve never been on a unicycle before). Participation is free, but a voluntary donation to Circus Center is recommended. If you don’t have your own unicycle or don’t bring it, then Circus Center will provide one for you to use at these practices. **SAFETY** -Do not attend if you feel sick -Protective gear (helmet, elbow pads, wrist guards, gloves, knee/shin guards, ankle braces, etc.) is highly recommended **REQUIREMENTS** -All ages are welcome, but anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult at all times -Everyone who comes to these practices is required to take at least one unicycle class at Circus Center with Ying Ying Zhao -Paper waiver needs to be signed before participating (this will be provided) -QR code for voluntary donation will be provided **RULES FOR PRACTICING AT CIRCUS CENTER** -If you’re wearing street shoes and/or are bringing your own unicycle, then you must wipe your shoes and unicycle tire with a towel (this will be provided) before stepping on the mats -Helmet is required if you want to do anything other than riding or practicing tricks on a flat surface (hopping onto/off of objects, etc.)

Our Sunday Meetups are for **first time or inexperienced** paddlers, and for experienced paddlers who wish to focus on refining their technique. All equipment is provided, but be sure to bring a water bottle and wear clothes you don't mind getting a little wet, and a ZipLoc bag for your keys/phone. In order to RSVP a spot on the boat, please be sure to fill out the following forms before coming out. This will help us with preparing boat seating and enable us to notify you in the event that practice gets cancelled due to weather conditions. Gaga is a fast-paced, low-impact version of dodgeball played in an enclosed pit. It's easy to learn, quick to play, and a great way to meet people. **Never played or even heard of the game before? No problem!** Most people pick it up in just a game or two, and we'll explain the rules when you arrive. **No experience, athletic ability, or prior knowledge required!** Just come ready to have fun! Don’t be put off by the limited signups shown here, we always have PLENTY of paddlers 😊 We are a Dragon boat racing team. Our aim is to have fun stay fit and win medals. We compete at local national and international races, and we hold weekly practices that are open to all. You don't need to become a member to come and try paddling with us! We welcome all new paddlers, so whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned Dragon boat team member, then come along and join us for any of our training sessions at the Grand Street boat ramp in Alameda every Saturday at 9:30 am. Or Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00pm. We provide the boat, paddles, Personal Floatation Devices (PFD's), Safety and training (all free of charge!)...and of course, the camaraderie that comes with being part of a 20 person team. After completing our first walk through Nob Hill, Russian Hill, and Telegraph Hill, we’re heading west to discover seven more of San Francisco’s remarkable summits. This adventure takes us from the elegant streets of Pacific Heights into the wooded trails of the Presidio, then west to Lincoln Park and the Richmond District. Along the way, we’ll experience stunning views, fascinating history, hidden corners, beautiful architecture, and some serious hill climbing! Our seven hills: 1. Lafayette Heights 1. Pacific Heights / Cannon Hill 1. Laurel Hill 1. Presidio Hill 1. Rob Hill 1. Lincoln Heights 1. We are an active squash group that gathers weekly at the courts in the Mission Rec Center (even if Meetup is inactive). Mission Recreation Center is close to the 16th and 24th street Bart stations and completely free. There is street parking all around.

We are a warm and friendly group of walkers who like to get a really good cardio workout. We meet at the South West corner of Ordway and Marin. We walk briskly up to Marin circle, and then continue at a moderately fast pace, as far as the top of Marin. If there's a garage sale along the route, we may stop for a few minutes to take a breather and check it out. We welcome newcomers, and often have walkers who walk just part of the route. Over a number of weeks, you can build up the stamina to get to the top of Marin!

Oakland Renegades Dragon Boat Team Meetup, Jack London Aquatic Center

Come join the Oakland Renegades Dragon Boat Team and try out the sport of dragon boating! Before practicing with us, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and it must be at least two weeks since the final vaccination. If you have COVID-19 symptoms or have been diagnosed with COVID-19, we ask that you not attend practice until you have a negative COVID-19 test, it has been 10 days since symptom onset, and at least 24 hours with no fever (without use of fever-reducing medication). You must obtain clearance from your doctor and the team leadership before returning to practice. You don't need to bring anything as we provide all the gear as well as instruction for beginners and more experienced paddlers alike. The first 3 times are free to give you a chance to see if dragon boating is for you. Dress appropriately for an outdoor sport that might include a little splashing.
