Join us for this group ride led by the Brompton community volunteers to the Presidio! We'll meet at Huckleberry Bicycles, enjoying some fabulous views of the Marina, the Presidio Parade Lawn, and concluding where we began at Huckleberry Bicycles at 181 Greenwich St, San Francisco CA 94111. Let's meet around 10:45 AM and we'll be unfolded and rolling by 11:00 AM. We will stop for food and drinks at the Presidio Pop Up Food Trucks event by the Main Parade Lawn. Expected to be at Presidio for about an hour if the food trucks are present. If this looks familiar, it's because its a reprise ride from last year...but hey who doesn't like food trucks?! **View the route at this link**: [https://ridewithgps.com/routes/51267810](https://ridewithgps.com/routes/51267810) **Route description**: The route is a linear loop going from Huckleberry to the Presidio through Fort Mason Park and along the scenic Marina Boulevard. **Ride level**: Chill / Relaxed Pace: 16 kph / 10 mph Distance: 8.7 Miles There will be two stops and breaks for one brief but steep climb in Fort Mason Park. Everyone is extremely welcome & no one will be left behind. **Our Community Rules:** 1. Be kind. Welcome and encourage other riders. Insults, shaming, and hate will be removed, and offenders will be banned. 2. Your safety is your responsibility. Helmets are required. Lights are required if riding in darkness. It is each rider’s responsibility to ensure their bike is clean, well-maintained, and fully functional. 3. All bikes are welcome. Occasional Brompton-only events will be clearly labeled. Contact your local Brompton dealer if you'd like to borrow a Brompton for an event (participation may vary). 4. If your plans change, please update your RSVP. Any skill level is welcome (even if you’ve never been on a unicycle before). Participation is free, but a voluntary donation to Circus Center is recommended. If you don’t have your own unicycle or don’t bring it, then Circus Center will provide one for you to use at these practices. **SAFETY** -Do not attend if you feel sick -Protective gear (helmet, elbow pads, wrist guards, gloves, knee/shin guards, ankle braces, etc.) is highly recommended **REQUIREMENTS** -All ages are welcome, but anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult at all times -Everyone who comes to these practices is required to take at least one unicycle class at Circus Center with Ying Ying Zhao (this doesn’t necessarily have to be before your first practice session) -Paper waiver needs to be signed before participating (this will be provided) -QR code for voluntary donation will be provided **RULES FOR PRACTICING AT CIRCUS CENTER** -If you’re wearing street shoes and/or are bringing your own unicycle, then you must wipe your shoes and unicycle tire with a towel (this will be provided) before stepping on the mats -Helmet is required if you want to do anything other than riding or practicing tricks on a flat surface (hopping onto/off of objects, etc.)
