Meet at the world famous Taco Bell Cantina 🌊 **10:30 am.** Short walk together over to Pacifica State Beach 🐕 Roam freely. Sketch the doggos. ☕ **12:00 noon.** Walk over to Soul Grind. 🎨 Sketch the cafe. Or pull up a chair and just relax. 📓 **01:00 pm**. We wrap things up with a show & tell, throwdown. Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like. Dogs. Surfboards. Pure untamed delight in the best way. Big Daddy's Complete Rejuvenating Community Garden (First Saturday Sketchers)
Sat, Aug 1, 5:30 PMCome and sketch at this amazing community sculpture garden in Emeryville! Big Daddy's Complete Rejuvenating Community Garden was once a detail shop, car wash, and gas station run by Mr. Green. When Reverend Green died, the property fell into disrepair, and burned down. In 2002, sculptor Vickie Jo Sewell partnered with the City of Oakland and volunteers to create a community garden. Vickie created the amazing sculptures in the garden. STUDIO 203: Figure Drawing
Sat, Aug 1, 4:00 PM**1890 BRYANT STREET STUDIOS** Great models in a great studio in a great building meet every Saturday am, 9am-noon for a drop-in figure drawing session. We supply boards, easels, horses and chairs- bring your own supplies. This group has been going strong for over 30 years at different locations. **PARKING:** Easy on Saturdays but - *READ PARKING SIGNS!!!!* Some spots are 12 hours, others 2, others are meters. They DO ticket ($135). **PLEASE SHOW UP BEFORE 9AM**: A person posted at the entrance from 8:30 - 9am. They leave at 9am and after that and door is locked. **OTHER:** There's a coffee shop right next door. **From the group:** *Come draw with us on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at 1890 Bryant Street, Studio 203. The drawing fee is $20 CASH ONLY with a tip jar for the model. Our maximum capacity is 20 participants. If you arrive after 9 or without cash, you may not be admitted. Dry and water-soluble media welcome. There is a sink, but no water fountain. Please bring your own drinking water.* ***Please honor our house rules: no talking during poses;*** *cell phones silenced and stowed away; no pets. If the model requests, all artists are required to wear face masks, so please bring a mask. Thank you.*

Sketch Club at Pier 14
Sun, Aug 23, 7:00 PMJoin us for some sketching and painting the spectacular views at Pier 14 in the Embarcadero, next to the Ferry Terminal. Enjoy waterfront views of the Bay Bridge and Treasure Island, boats and seagulls, and the San Francisco Skyline. There are restrooms and snacks in the nearby Ferry Building. Hosted by members of the San Francisco Women Artists Gallery. SFWA is a designated SF Legacy Business in recognition of serving the community as a valued cultural asset of the city for over 100 years. Started in the late 1800s as the Sketch Club, it is one of California's oldest arts organizations.
