**1890 BRYANT STREET STUDIOS** Great models in a great studio in a great building meet every Friday 6-9PM for a drop-in figure drawing session. We supply easels, and drawing boards and horses - bring your own supplies. No solvents please. This group has been going strong since 1977 and just recently lost their home and have relocated with us. **PARKING:** Easy on Friday nights. **PLEASE SHOW UP BEFORE 6PM**: A person is posted at the entrance from 5:30 - 6PM. They go draw at 6PM and after that and door is locked with a phone number sign to call for entry. **OTHER:** There's always coffee and sweets! And great music.

**The plan for our SEPTEMBER 27th session is st HOLLY PARK in Bernal Heights.** Nice landscape and views, lots of benches, shade, bathrooms and food/drinks nearby. Public transport should be easy. **At 1pm** I'll meet you in the park at the top of Highland Ave - come say hello then find a spot to draw. **At 3:30 pm** we'll meet at the same spot to share and enjoy everybody's work. **Bring layers!** Fog and wind are *always* a possibility, dress in layers. **Our next Marin Sketchers Meet Up will be just north of the Golden Gate Bridge at Fort Baker - Cavallo Point.** There are an amazing variety of vantage points from which to sketch from at this former 1905 U.S. Army post: historic army buildings and gun emplacements, the fishing pier at the sheltered harbor and while in a comfortable Adirondack chair on the 2nd floor deck at Cavallo Point Lodge. All with a dynamic view of the Golden Gate Bridge as a backdrop. We'll meet at 10:00am at the old [Presidio Yacht Club](https://maps.app.goo.gl/c8bJiNttUEWkw8DZ7) at the edge of the Bay and throw down sketches at noon. **More info** on the [National Park Service website](https://www.nps.gov/goga/planyourvisit/fort-baker.htm). Cafe sketching at Cento Coffee in downtown SF 📍 **12:00 noon meet at communal table inside.** 🎨 Bring your own art supplies. Roam freely. Sketch what you see. ☕ Pull up a chair anytime to draw with us and talk art. 📓 1:45pm. We wrap things up with a show & tell. We’re heading to sketch at Cento Coffee, an independent San Francisco coffee shop tucked inside the **Center for Architecture + Design** a space devoted to architecture, exhibitions, talks, and design culture that sits in the historic Hallidie Building. This cafe is closed on the weekend, so we worked in a rare weekday (Thursday) event to ensure we got to experience it. This is organized by the **[Cafe Art Circle](https://www.zenbay.org/cafe_art_circle)** meetup under SF Sketchers. We explore coffee and tea shops around the Bay Area, using sketching as a way to experience the atmosphere of each place and its neighborhood. All skill levels welcome. Just some convivial folks hanging out at a neighborhood pub with their skechbooks. You don't have to be an "artist," or whatever that means, to be here. Bringing art supplies is a great idea though! Hydration is encouraged! The Flying Pig sells soft drinks and other n/a options as well as beer and cider.  We come up with a theme or prompt for each week. You're free to use it or ignore it. It's about inspiring to stray from the norm. Speaking of which, this week's theme/prompt is [TBA]
