Self-Defense Workshop by Darin Waugh

It will be held at **Tuttle Park (240 W Oakland Ave., Columbus, OH 43201)** on **September 20th @1pm.** Ages 18+. At Darin's workshop, you can expect a casual vibe and **hands-on & full-contact education** of **efficient** and **effective** concepts and techniques from Do–Jung–Ishu's take on **Jeet Kune Do**, Bruce Lee's legacy. **Sticky Hands** **(Chi Sao)**, a method of controlling your opponent while still maintaining offensive pressure in the clench, is one such concept and Darin Waugh is one of the best in the world to do it. What you are introduced to in this workshop can be taken with you and grown in future classes with us or wherever you prefer to train. The workshop will last as long as Darin stays to teach, and however long attendees decide to stick around and practice. The fee is **$10/attendee** and **all proceeds go towards maintaining the club and for Darin's time.** Our shirts may be purchased at the event for $25 and they function as a **%50 discount** when worn to classes. Blendon Woods Hike

Join us for a shaded walk in the woods at Blendon Woods Metro Park this Tuesday at 7 pm. We’ll hike the Brookside trail which is largely gravel and about 2 miles. This trail almost always includes some wildlife and does have some hills. Join us this beautiful hike!
