The workshop invites visitors to take up the practice for themselves. Working in silence with colour and canvas, each person becomes both the artist and the audience of their own work. Nothing needs to be got right and no experience is needed. The point is to find out what happens when feeling passes straight into colour, without stopping to explain itself. Your creation will then be displayed as part of the artists solo show at the London Art Bar!

It’s hard to find a place to learn and play American Mahjong in London — that’s why our Mahjong school has expanded to include it. ### **✅ American Mahjong Is Unique!** We play most Mahjong styles at our club, and people often ask if we have a preference, or what really sets them apart. Chinese Mahjong is our root, but American Mahjong brings entirely new rules and fun mechanics like the Charleston. And let’s not forget the stylish tiles and mats — we’ve imported sets straight from the US, because if you’re playing American style, you’ve got to complete the whole look! ### **✅ What Will You Learn?** Starting from the fundamentals of American Mahjong — tile recognition, game setup, reading the National Mah Jongg League card, and, most importantly, how to play a full game with confidence. 🀄 **No prior experience required** — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn! 😊 American Mahjong isn’t as beginner-friendly as Chinese Mahjong. This first workshop covers all the foundations, but you’ll want two more sessions to really get comfortable — that’s what our own learning and teaching experience has taught us. **A gem of a life drawing session in our secret hideaway - a good vibes intimate sit down drawing session with wonderful models and lighting** Vaulty Towers really is a very special venue with a wonderful atmosphere- walk through the main bar with its glittery décor and down the little staircase into the twinkly hideaway downstairs where the life drawing magic happens! As with all our drop in classes – expect professional tutors and models in an inspiring and unique space. With poses from 30 seconds to one hour – there is something for everyone. SATURDAY Painting Landscapes Workshop

Join us for a 'painting landscapes' workshop run by illustrator Jess Nash. Throughout the session, you will be introduced to different painting techniques from mixing vibrant colours to painting loosely - resulting in the creation of your landscape painting on paper to take home. This workshop is perfect for those who have a good knowledge of basic colour mixing and are looking for a cosy painting class. Feel free to bring along an image of a landscape that you would like to paint in the session. This could be photos that you've taken yourself or just scenes from other photos that you like. Landscape images will be provided by Jess, if you don't have any. ***This week's session will re-introduce you to incorporating depth into your painting. It will show you how to paint so that things in the background look as if they're far away and things in the foreground look like they're close.*** All materials are provided, however this is a paid event.
