Our monthly Circuit Launch Oakland "Open House" evening for everyone, fun for the whole family! Join us every third Friday evening of the month: **○ Robot, AI and Electronics Projects:** Start a project, continue a project or discover one here: we provide the space, tools and peer learning – you bring your project and enthusiasm! **○ Repair Projects:** Fixit Clinic's monthly residency at Circuit Launch: bring your repair projects – electronic gadgets, appliances, computers, toys, etc.– for consultation, assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. We’ll provide workspace, specialty tools, and guidance to help you disassemble and troubleshoot your item. First-time repairers and “Fixing Families” are heartily invited. Woodworking Workshop

-please read the whole updated description!- Come to work on your own projects and get some feedback from your fellow woodchucks. We have a planer, drill presses, hand tools, a table saw, and much more! ###################### **starting June 8 we will be taking a break from the intensive power tool trainings provided in previous sessions.** For the next few weeks we want to use wood night as a time for actively working on projects and designing ideas for your projects. Happy to help with some guided use of the tools, but for now no full training will be offered. If you are new to the woodshop you are still welcome to join, just know that we will not provide a full training on the tools. If you have significant experience using a Tablesaw, mitre saw, planer etc then this should not be an issue. We do have some scrap wood available, but bringing some wood for your project, especially if it is larger or more crafty, is highly encouraged. We recommend getting your wood at Lowe’s (cheaper) Discount builders supply (closer to NB) or Beronio (higher quality and carry lots of hardwoods). Please feel free to ask questions on the discord if you are unsure about what to get for your project.

**Comics & Board Games Creative Workshop** **Every Wednesday • 6:00 PM • Berkeley** **Have an idea for a comic, graphic novel, board game, card game, RPG, or creative project?** **Or maybe you’ve always wanted to make something but didn’t know where to start.** **This is a weekly creative workshop for people who want to build ideas, develop projects, and create alongside other artists, writers, and game designers in a supportive, structured environment.** **You don’t need experience.** **You just need curiosity.** **What We’ll Do** **Every Wednesday we’ll work through the creative process together.** **Creative Warm-Up** **We’ll start with prompts, brainstorming, sketching, storytelling, and idea generation to get inspired—without the pressure to immediately make something.** **Community Project** **Together we’ll create a collaborative comic, board game, zine, or other creative project. We’ll learn by making something as a team while exploring different parts of the creative process.** **Personal Studio Time** **The second half of the evening is dedicated to your own project.
