Was anfangs abstrakt erscheint, wird überraschend konkret. Painting Places into Memories: Art Workshop

Painting Places into Memories: Art Workshop

Sat, Sep 5, 11:00 AM
From Berlin Events for Gen Z
4.7

Join us for **Painting Places into Memories**, a relaxed art workshop with a guided approach where we’ll turn landscapes that inspired you this summer into paintings. As autumn begins, we’ll take a **moment to slow down**, look back at our summer travels, and transform a special place, view, or moment into an **artwork you can keep**. Bring **a photo from a place that stayed with you** — whether it holds a meaningful memory or simply left you amazed — and we’ll explore how to **capture that feeling on canvas**. # **What to expect** **A Guided Painting Journey with Nastia 🎨:** This time, we’re making the workshop more structured, with a clear step-by-step process from the first warm-up exercise and reference analysis to the final painting. You’ll get personal guidance throughout the process, along with explanations of different artistic principles behind each step. * **New Materials ✨:** We’re upgrading the materials for this edition, with **higher-quality painting supplies** provided for the workshop. * **Paint Your Own Summer Memory 📸:** Choose a landscape from your summer travels that you’d love to remember and preserve. We’ll use your photo as a reference and turn it into your own interpretation on canvas. * **Wine & Inspiration 🍷:** Enjoy a glass of wine (or two) while you paint and let the relaxed atmosphere make space for creativity and conversation. * **Meet Like-Minded People** 👐\*\*:\*\* Share stories from your travels, discover the places that inspired others, exchange ideas, and enjoy a cozy evening with a creative company. * **Perfect for All Skill Levels** 🌱: This event is designed to spark ideas for beginners and offer fresh challenges for experienced painters. * **Awards 🏆:** And, as always, we’ll end with a little friendly competition and awards for some of the favourite paintings of the evening. # About **the Host** In this art workshop, you’ll be guided by **me, Nastia** (**[@nastiacreates](https://www.instagram.com/nastiacreates/?utm_source=luma)**), a Berlin-based artist and graphic designer originally from Ukraine. I studied art as a part of a Graphic Design program at university and have been **learning and creating art since I was a child**. I’ve always loved making things with my hands, and teaching art has also been a significant part of my journey — from working in an **art school to giving individual lessons to people** of different ages. What I enjoy most about teaching isn’t just sharing what I know — it’s **seeing people discover their own creative side** and experiencing the magic of creating something together. While I enjoy my work as a graphic designer, I sometimes miss the hands-on side of creating and feel I have more creative potential to explore. **Organising art events** has become a way for me to reconnect with that side, **share my knowledge, and bring people together** through creativity. I’ve already organised and hosted several **indoor and outdoor art workshops** and gatherings in Berlin, and it brings me so much joy to create these experiences, meet new people, and inspire each other. 💛 # **Important note** **Reference Landscape Photo:** We strongly recommend bringing your reference photo **printed rather than on your phone**. Apart from making the painting process easier, it’s also a nice chance to take a break from the screens we look at every day. Not sure whether your photo fits the concept? **Send it to us in advance and we’ll help you choose.** And if you can’t print it yourself, **we can print it for you** — just send us the photo beforehand (deadline: 05.09.26). # **In a nutshell** 🎨 **Structured step-by-step workshop + personal guidance** 📚 **Practical artistic guidance on composition, colour, light & more** 🖌️ **Materials provided, but feel free to bring your own favourite ones** 🤝 **A chance to spend time with creative people** (10-15 Young Professionals & Students) 🍷🏆 **Awards & Wine included** 📍 **Location: Berlin Park** We’re planning to paint outdoors at one of Berlin's Parks. In case of unsuitable weather, we may move to a different indoor location — we’ll let you know 24 hours in advance 🙌 🎟️ **Tickets: 22€** (Higher-Quality Materials + Wine + Guided Workshop + Awards)

Writing Group Berlin ✍️ | FIRST DRAFT — Write Your Book Together

Writing Group Berlin ✍️ | FIRST DRAFT — Write Your Book Together

Sat, Sep 5, 1:00 PM
From FIRST DRAFT | Berlin Writing Group & Writing Meetup

✍️ FIRST DRAFT | Our First Writing Meetup Hi, I’m Khushboo Sangwan, a left-handed creative writer and project manager living in Berlin. I’ve always dreamed of writing a book. 📖 But somehow, life keeps getting in the way. Work, responsibilities, other plans, and suddenly another year has passed and that first draft is still sitting somewhere in your head. 💻 I know how difficult it is to stay consistent when you’re doing it alone. ✍️ So I decided to stop waiting for the perfect time and create the kind of writing group I wished I had. And I’m not going to sit there and tell you what to do while you write. I’ll be writing my own book with you. 📕 Every Saturday, we’ll meet for focused writing time, take a couple of short breaks, and then spend some time talking about what we’re working on, helping each other through creative blocks and figuring out what comes next. 📚💡 I’ll also help you look at your book like a creative project. We can talk about planning, timelines, accountability, Notion, finishing your first draft and, eventually, how to start thinking about literary agents and getting published. 📑 Our first session 15:00 Arrive & settle in 15:10–16:00 Writing sprint ⏳ 16:00–16:10 Break 💛 16:10–17:00 Writing sprint ⏳ 17:00–17:10 Break 💛 17:10–18:00 Writing sprint ⏳ 18:00–18:30 Discussion, brainstorming & support 💬 This is completely free. Donations are welcome if you’d like to help me keep it running, but they’re absolutely not expected. 💕✨ I’m starting this because I genuinely believe that we can finish our books if we stop trying to do it alone. I want to see your first draft in your hands six months from now. 🍀 And I want mine there too. 📖 If you’ve been dreaming about becoming an author and you’re serious about finally doing something about it, come join me. ❤️ Bring your laptop. Bring your unfinished story. Bring the idea that’s been sitting in your head for years. Let’s write our books together. And let’s see if, six months from now, we can call ourselves published authors. ✍️

FIND. CRAFT. TELL. Your Story WORKSHOP

FIND. CRAFT. TELL. Your Story WORKSHOP

Sat, Sep 12, 8:00 AM
From THE BEAR. true stories. told live. berlin. since 2015.
4.8

*Hello Storytellers and Story-Curious!* **Find. Craft. Tell. Your Story A 12-Hour Storytelling Workshop (Berlin)** *"Because we all have stories. Stories connect us."* Ever had a story you've told a hundred times in your head, but never out loud, in front of anyone? This September, THE BEAR invites you to a full-day immersion into the art of true, personal storytelling. Raw, focused, and deeply human. Whether you've never told a story on stage before or you're ready to sharpen your craft, this 12-hour journey will gently push you past your comfort zone. That's where clarity, courage, and connection begin. **🎤 What this workshop is** A hands-on, in-person intensive where you take one real moment from your life and shape it into a 5-minute story that lands. No performance tricks. No polish for polish's sake. Just structure, honesty, and practice. **🐻 Find. Craft. Tell.** **FIND:** Uncover the real story behind your memories, through guided exercises that surface which moments carry weight, and why. **CRAFT:** Shape your story with structure, tension, and heart. **TELL:** Practice telling it out loud, in a supportive room, with feedback that builds confidence rather than picking you apart. **💭 What you'll experience** * A 90-minute online prep session the week before * A 12-hour, in-person storytelling intensive in Berlin * Guided exercises to unlock memories and shape your narrative * **Multiple rounds of practice and peer feedback** * Personalized coaching from an experienced story coach * A printable handout you can reuse for future stories You'll laugh, you might cry, and by the end of the day you'll feel gloriously spent, in the best possible way. When we're that tired, the armour falls away, and what's left is honest, brave, and beautifully human. **🎟 A chance to take the stage** Workshop participants can put their name in the hat to perform their story at THE BEAR's Open Stage Show on September 17, 2026, in front of a live, cheering audience. Performance is optional. Growth is not. **👉 Everyone has a story to tell** Strange neighbors. Funny uncles. Short-lived romances. Life-changing mistakes. Moments you've never talked about out loud. Even the most ordinary lives hold stories that can move a room to laughter or tears. This workshop helps you find those stories, and tell them in a way that connects. *"What started out as just a storytelling workshop ended in a day of getting to know myself better and connecting with people I had never met before. I am more confident about my skills and understand how to continue to improve. Also, it was a lot of fun!"* — Adriana Carles, Brand Marketing Manager **📍 Workshop Details** **📅 Date:** Saturday, September 12, 2026 🕙 Time: 10:00–22:00 📍 Location: Theatre Pool, Boxhagener Str. 18, 3.
