Lets sketch in the sculpture room at the V&A South Kensington I love this set of rooms, there's tonnes of amazing sculptures here. Sculptures act as such effective life drawing models cus they don't move! If anyone wishes to sketch any other part of the museum they are of course welcome to. We will meet outside the main entrance on Cromwell Road at 11am, I'll wait for about 15 minutes and then we will head in to the sculpture room together. Afterwards we can then meet back there at 1pm and maybe sit in the courtyard and compare drawings! Nearest Tube Stop: South Kensington What Three Words: ///shorts.cards.legs Completely free of charge, no need to sign up, bring a friend. Feel free to drop in for the whole two hours or just short while if you'd prefer. Look for the tall ginger fella with a sketchbook as an indicator of the meetup spot, but feel free to roam as far and wide as you like and sketch anything you damn well please! Please bring your own sketchbooks and pens/pencils. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- About Sketchbook London Every week we will choose a location around the magnificent city of London and draw people, buildings, pigeons, bins, anything you want.... No payment, no pressure, no need to sign up, just show up and draw for a couple of hours. All levels, abilities and professions welcome, bring a friend! Zero pressure to interact, network, impress in any way, this is just a way to get out and about and appreciate the joy of urban sketching and all the weird and wonderful creatures that inhabit this thriving metropolis. I am a storyboard artist working in animation and I am happy to discuss sketching techniques or give feedback on any work but this is by no means an exclusive event for artists, all are welcome :) \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- ## Sketchbook London Meetup Code of Conduct **Everyone is welcome.** We aim to provide a friendly, inclusive and respectful space to sketch, learn and meet others. Acrylic Painting Workshop - October 2026

Acrylic Painting Workshop - October 2026

Sun, Oct 25, 1:00 PM
From Art & Painting Workshops in London

It has been such a joy watching our little creative community grow over the past few months — seeing people leave with a finished painting they're genuinely proud of is exactly why we do this! If you've been meaning to join us all year, this is your last chance in 2026, don't let it pass you by! Think of it as a studio class in the relaxed, welcoming setting of your local pub; a space to get real, hands-on painting experience without the pressure of enrolling in a formal class. You'll choose the painting you want to achieve and Dhanishtha will help you pick the right one for your level — but feel free to challenge yourself! From there you'll learn how to use acrylics, mix your colours, and build your painting up on canvas layer by layer. Dhanishtha moves around every participant throughout the session, offering 1-to-1 guidance. Everyone is different, some people prefer more hands-on support while others like to find their own way, so Dhanishtha works entirely according to your preference. The hope is that you leave with a finished 12x16 inch canvas painting you made yourself, new skills to keep building on, and the confidence to call yourself an artist. ✨ All materials fully supplied — including your own 12x16 inch canvas to take home ✨ All abilities welcome — complete beginners and experienced artists welcome ✨ Relaxed, friendly atmosphere — come solo or bring a friend 🍹 10% off all drinks on the day 🍕 Genuinely great pizza available 📍 Three Colts Tavern, 199 Cambridge Heath Road, E2 0EL 📅 Sunday 25th October, 1pm–4pm ⚠️ **Please note:** *RSVPing on Meetup does not secure your place — you must purchase a ticket through Eventbrite to confirm your spot. We prepare all materials in advance for each person and cannot accommodate anyone on the day without a ticket.* 🎟 Tickets: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/acrylic-painting-workshop-presented-by-uncovered-tickets-1996365323423?aff=oddtdtcreator And as always — as a member of the group you get 10% off your ticket using code UNCOVER10 at checkout! *Places are limited and this is our last workshop of 2026 — don't miss out!*
