Forte Animal Rescue Volunteer Orientation

Forte Animal Rescue Volunteer Orientation

Sat, Oct 10, 7:00 PM
From Forte Animal Rescue Social Club: Wags, Wine and Walks
5.0

Attention all dog lovers! If you’re interested in volunteering with an animal rescue organization, please consider Forte Animal Rescue, a 100% volunteer group. We need volunteers to help with our weekly adoption event, dog walking and dog transportation. We also need fosters for our dogs, so they don’t have to stay in a kennel until they’re adopted. We’re also looking for an experienced Grant Writer and a Videographer who can video and post our dogs on social media. And, of course, we're always looking for fresh fundraising ideas, too. Our volunteers are asked to attend an orientation on the west side of LA before they can volunteer with us. Orientations are held the second Saturday of each month from 12 to 4pm. If you think you’d be interested in helping us, please send an email to volunteer@FARescue.org for the application form and more details. You will also need a photocopy of your driver's license or other government issued identification. http://farescue.org

American Freedom Alliance conference on WW3

American Freedom Alliance conference on WW3

Sun, Oct 18, 3:00 PM
From Conservative Outdoors and Socials
4.7

***We tend to recognize war when it is kinetic—bombs, missiles, militaries. But the conflicts confronting America and the West are also being waged through ideological subversion, foreign influence, institutional capture, demographic pressure, information warfare, economic power, education and political warfare.*** ***Just because it doesn't look like war doesn't mean we're not in one.*** ***World War III: Status Update brings together leading experts to examine these different fronts: where we stand, how they intersect, and what America must do to prevail.*** The urgency of the midterm elections and the rapidly changing national-security landscape have prompted us to convene another all-day conference examining the status of World War III. In 2023 and 2024, AFA held six conferences under the banner World War III: The Early Years. Now we return to assess what has changed—and where the threats are growing. We will examine the major challenges confronting us both at home and abroad, including the Middle East and Islam; China and its influence within the United States; the Red-Green Axis and the ways in which these ideological movements work together; changing demographics; and the influence of foreign nations throughout American institutions. The conference will be held on October 18 in Los Angeles, from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM. Details are still being finalized, but confirmed speakers already include: Gordon Chang, Capt. James Fanell, Frank Gaffney, Mark Krikorian, Trevor Loudon, Peter McIlvenna, and Bradley Thayer—with many more to come. https://www.eventcreate.com/e/world-war-iii-status-update
