2v2 Intermediate+ Beach Volley 💪

2v2 Intermediate+ Beach Volley 💪

Sun, Oct 18, 2:00 PM
From Berlin Beach Volleyball
4.9

Join us for intermediate and advanced **indoor** 2v2 beach volleyball. We play in domes heated to at least 15C. If you are not yet at the intermediate level ([F1+](https://www.esv-muenchen-volleyball.de/niveaueinstufung)) or want to play 3v3/4v4, sign up via [the simultaneous event](https://www.meetup.com/berlin-volley/events/) instead. We play with beach rules: no open hands for the first or last touch, no touching the net, etc. We overbook slightly to ensure we have enough players and to let people take breaks. After playing, you can join us for socials with drinks and snacks at the bar area. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early so you have time to change and find the fields. If it is your first time, 15 minutes might be even better. You can join whatever court you like and move between courts during the event. We self-organize, so after a game, you can start a rematch, switch courts, or take a break as you see fit. Upon arrival, join the warm-up happening on one of the courts. Join our WhatsApp community by asking J for an invite after the event. Follow us on Insta at [https://www.instagram.com/berlinvolleyball](https://www.instagram.com/berlinvolleyball) **Rules**: Do not join if you have an infectious disease. **Venue**: We play at BeachMitte. The venue has changing rooms, toilets, a bar selling drinks and food, and hot-water showers for 1 EUR. There are no lockers. **Payment**: You pay in advance via Meetup. Payment via PayPal or Urban Sports Club is not possible. **Refunds**: The venue does not provide refunds. As a result, we cannot refund you, even if the event is canceled due to bad weather. If you know in advance you can't make it, you can try selling your spot to someone else via WhatsApp or the comment section. You get a full refund if the event gets canceled due to poor attendance. Pictures might be taken and shared publicly, such as on Meetup or Instagram. You can opt out by letting the organizer know you don't want to be photographed. By RSVP'ing to this event, you acknowledge and agree to the following: Participation in this volleyball event is at your own risk. The organizer is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. You understand the inherent risks of park volleyball and voluntarily assume them. Park Volley ☀️ 🏐 🌴 @ Hasenheide

Park Volley ☀️ 🏐 🌴 @ Hasenheide

Sat, Oct 17, 1:30 PM
From Berlin Beach Volleyball
4.9

**Join us for outdoor grass volleyball in Hasenheide park!** This event is not suitable for complete beginners. We play with two nets. The "chill court" is for mixed-level play with 3v3 up to 5v5. The "competitive court" is for higher-level 2v2 play with beach rules. Be sure to wear suitable sports clothing, and consider bringing a drink. **Location**: We play in the narrow clearing, located between the two paths in the center of Hasenheide park, on the southern side. We'll post updates in the WhatsApp group. **Facilities:** The park has no facilities such as changing rooms or showers. A nearby public toilet is also available, but it may be closed, dirty, or out of toilet paper. **RSVP**: Add yourself to the waitlist, even if others are already on it. The waitlist is not chronological, so even if there are 30 people on there, you still have a chance! If you get a spot, you will be moved to the attending list and notified by Meetup. This is a free event with limited space. **If you can't make it, promptly update your RSVP to NO** so others can take your place. If you do not show up or cancel last minute, you will be marked as a no-show, reducing your chances of getting off the waitlist in the future. **Payment:** This event is free, but you are invited to make a 2 EUR donation towards equipment. **Attending**: Do not join if you have an infectious disease. You must be on the attendee list to attend; being on the waitlist is not enough. Do not bring friends who are not on the attendee list. **Showing up without having a valid RSVP will get you banned**. **Safety**: Mind the terrain. The grass might be uneven and contain items such as bottle caps. It is not suitable for diving or playing like on a beach. Be careful not to twist your ankle. Keep an eye on your belongings since we are in a public park. We do *not* have a full first aid kit available. Please inform the organizer of any medical conditions that might require attention during the event. Some things you *might* want to bring: \* Sunglasses \* Drink \* Snacks \* Insect spray \* Sunscreen \* Toilet paper, if you wish to use the public toilet Follow us on Insta at [https://www.instagram.com/berlinvolleyball](https://www.instagram.com/berlinvolleyball) Pictures might be taken and shared publicly, such as on Meetup or Instagram. Special event with Anandagiri: The key to creating multidimensional impact

Special event with Anandagiri: The key to creating multidimensional impact

Sun, Oct 25, 6:00 PM
From Oneness Berlin - Meditation and Transformation
4.9

Join us for a special event with **Anandagiri, Sustainability Advisor, Project Director & Volunteer @ Lokaa Foundation,** to learn about Anilpuram - a sustainable world village, emerging in the South of India for the Yanadi indigenous tribe, bringing transformation and hope to 100+ families. The Yanadi community is a traditionally marginalized tribal group facing challenges like flooding, poor housing, and limited access to resources. Now, as part of the World Village Project, Lokaa Foundation is building a new, **fully sustainable home for and with this community.** The main philosophy behind the project is that **true sustainable development transcends the physical transformation of an area**; it requires a shift in mindset and priorities, where a deeper connection with oneself, others, and nature is nurtured. Creating an environment that fosters social, cultural, and ecological harmony. The village is built by using reclaimed, repurposed, and carefully engineered materials in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. Construction debris is turning into the elements that hold the village together: 125 modular homes, a knowledge center, an experience center, community courtyards, and the essential infrastructure that will support the village for decades. A flagship project of this scale, built with this depth of sustainability and cultural respect, is truly one of its kind in the world. **About Anandagiri:** Anandagiri is a Sustainability Advisor, Project Director & Volunteer at Lokaa Foundation, as well as a senior faculty member at EKAM, India - a meditation school and ecosystem dedicated to transformation of human consciousness. His impact and contribution goes beyond merely applying sustainability principles to actually creating an environment where human beings **live in harmony with each other and the planet.** Join us for a beautiful evening with inspiring stories that highlight powerful principles for creating multidimensional impact in the world. 🎟️ **Entry**: This is a free event. Nevertheless, please let us know if you cannot come, as the number of available spots is limited and we'd like that others have a chance to join. **Register [here](https://www.eventbrite.de/e/the-key-to-creating-multidimensional-impact-tickets-2001940356497) to secure your spot.** 📍**Where**: Yoga Sky, Am Tempelhofer Berg 7d, 10965 Berlin Follow the Yoga Sky signs in the yard, and take the elevator to the top floor. 🗓 **When**: Sunday, 25th of October, 19:00 - 21:00, afterwards you can stay for some tea and personal interaction until 22:00. Please arrive 5-15 min earlier to settle down. Looking forward to see you, Oneness Berlin Florian & Jazgul
