Equipments will be disinfected after each use #### DO I NEED TO BE ABLE TO SWIM Participants are not required to be able to swim, but should be confident in the water whilst wearing a buoyancy aid #### WHAT HAPPENS IN ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS Very rarely do we need to reschedule sessions due to adverse weather conditions. In the event of a lightning storm, all sessions on the water will cease and students will return to shore for at least 20 minutes after the last visible lightning strike #### WHAT AGES ARE THE ACTIVITIES SUITABLE FOR For insurance reasons our minimum age is five years old but we have no maximum. Our upper-deckers programme regularly sees 80+ year olds out kayaking. The participants physical fitness and water confidence are the key factors to consider in deciding if the activities are suitable #### WHAT IS YOUR YOUTH SUPERVISION POLICY? Young people 14+ must still be supervised by an adult but this can be from the shore
