Robbins Reef: Advanced Volunteer Trip - 15 miles total

*This trip is open to those who have volunteered in 2026 during our **public embayments**.* Once the RSVP opens, you will be placed on a waitlist until the host reviews your volunteer status and to make sure you completed the qualifications below. We'll paddle to almost Staten Island. We'll check out a cool lighthouse, Robbins Reef. On the way there you'll paddle by Ellis Island and in front of Liberty Island. No experience necessary. So grab your picnic basket and enjoy wonderful paint event in Central Park! Included: a pre-sketched canvas, unlimited painting materials (brushes, acrylic paints etc.) and a take home bag. No smocks so please dress appropriately. Please bring something to sit on. What to expect: **• Step-by-step, group-oriented painting instruction, which is designed to simultaneously entertain and enlighten our members.** **• We'll have a professional artist guide you through a featured painting that is yours to keep and proudly display. Prior to the event, we will provide you with some ice breaker questions that you can use, or you can make up your own. At the event, participants will be broken up into groups of 3-4 people. The group will stay together for about 5-10 minutes and at the end of the round, half of the participants will move to a new station and start a new round, meeting new people. \*\*\*\*\*1 item minimum purchase (drinks, non alcoholic is ok, and/or food) FAQs: **How many will attend?** This is a MULTI-GROUP partner Meetup. We will have a good number of members attending. **Can I come alone?** Yes. 95% of those attending will be coming on their own.
