An afternoon of fun and games at Tribeca Whole Foods at 270 Greenwich Street on Warren in lower Manhattan. Take any train to Chambers Street or City Hall. Walk west to Greenwich Street then head to Warren. The stairs and elevator are in the back. We'll be upstairs at one of the tables. Please make a purchase of some kind. LGBTQ Trivia Night - in person - Queens

An in person event in Queens at the new location of the Queens LGBT Center. 35-11 35th Avenue, in the Astoria section. Directions are below. Online info at www.lgbtnetwork.org Four rounds of trivia, including a music round. This will take place every second Monday of the month. There will be teams. Directions - nearest stop is Steinway Street on the M and R trains. From out of Queens, get out at the rear exit at the back of the train. From in Queens, get out at the front exit. When you reach the street, walk straight ahead, don't turn. Go to 35th Avenue and turn right. You will pass several places to eat, including Subway, Panera Bread and Applebees. Go a couple of blocks further. Look for the LGBT network signs across the street from the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts. Enter and see the receptionist. You will check in with your cell phone. You can also take the N or W trains to 36th Avenue. Walk from there to 35th Ave and turn right. It's about four blocks, give or take. If you RSVP and discover you cannot attend, change your RSVP to NO. There will be snacks and beverages available. Space is limited. Join us. You'll have a gay old time. There will be others in attendance who did not RSVP for this.

NYCYDC - Monthly Competitive Swiss Tournament

Duelists, prepare for battle! NYCYDC presents its own monthly competitive Swiss tournament to give members a feel of what it’s like to partake in locals, Regionals and even YCS! These tournaments are far from casual as duelists will bring their very best and strongest decks to compete. A test of skills and wit, expect a tough competition. These monthly tournaments will follow advanced format rules such as 50 minute matches and double loss time rules. Official tournament start time will be 3:30pm. Arrive early to prepare! Rules: 1. As per tournament rules, you must play 1 deck from start to finish. Switching decks will result in a penalty such as a game loss. Failure to comply will result in a disqualification from the tournament. 2. Arrive on time and be ready for your match! If you are not present for the first 5 minutes of your match you will receive a game loss. After 10 minutes you will receive a match loss. Time is sacred! 3. Sportsmanship and respect is mandatory. If we receive complaints of disrespect and misconduct you will receive a warning. A second offense will result in a disqualification. 4. There will be judge(s) present. Any conflict at during a match or question must be resolved with a judge. 5. Double loss will be applied. If a match winner has not been decided and declared by the end of the timer, both players will receive a double loss. 6. Slow play of any kind will not be tolerated. If you believe your opponent is slow playing, don’t hesitate! Call the judge! A judge will deal with the matter at hand. 7. Focus on your match! No devices should be present unless it’s to count LP! Don’t distract other duelists from their match as well. 8. No backseat dueling or request for assistance! Learn your deck and play on your own! If we catch you asking for advice you will receive a warning. The most important rule of any tournament is to have fun! IMPORTANT: Respect your RSVP! You must RSVP in order to participate. If you show up you’re expected to participate as a player.

Queer Board Game Night

The Brooklyn Strategist is your friendly community board game cafe. Tuesday Boardgame Meetup!

Looking to have a weekly or bi-weekly boardgame meetup on Tuesdays! We plan to meet at Sip & Play, a boardgame cafe in Park Slope. There’s plenty of space and games and you can also bring your own games. Excited to meet new friends and play some fun games! Entrance is $10, paid to Sip for unlimited gaming for the night. They have plenty of food and drink too! Would love to support a local biz while having fun :)

\*\* In order to support Cobblestones for letting us use their space, there is a $15 minimum food/drink order per person.\*\* The monthly weekend meetup at Cobblestones is back! This is where we tend to stay longer & play more games than our weekly get-together. The next one will be on Saturday July 25, 2026. Join us for our awesome Weekend Boardgaming Meetup at Cobblestone's pub! We start around noon & usually stay until the early evening. We're a friendly group of gamers that play everything from Codenames & Ticket to Ride to Blood Rage & Agricola! Everyone is welcome - all ages (must be over 21) but must be young at heart! If you don't recognize the games, don't worry, everyone is happy to teach new players the rules. And feel free to bring your own board games if you wish. Between all of us, there's usually a large selection of games to choose from. If you're looking for a chill, fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon - come join us! In order to support our awesome, not-too-loud venue, each person must purchase something to eat or a few drinks. **Again, there is a $15 minimum per person.** *** We always welcome new people & we're all here to have fun, but we do have a few ground rules that we ask everyone to be aware of: * Treat everyone in the group with respect & do not discriminate. Some of us "trash talk" when we play, but it's all in good fun & in the spirit of gaming. * This is a restaurant/bar so accidents are bound to happen. However, if you're responsible for ruining someone else's game by spilling a beverage or food on it, the right thing to do is to offer to purchase a new copy for them. Some of the games we bring are out of print so please treat every board game with respect. * If a game is accidentally ruined by a staff member, everyone at the table should pitch in to buy a new one for the owner.
