On our monthly online meetings, you connect from home (or your favorite spot) and watch the fun, talk to other members or guests, get news updates, see some videos from our database, show some of your own videos and photos (or send me a link to your favorite YouTube video and, 'if appropriate' 😉 I'll show it) and **generally have a great time**..... Minimum of 4 Members (not including the Host) or it will be postponed... I've scheduled this as a two hour event that you can join at any time as long as you have RSVPed to 'Attend' before the event starts (let me know if you're joining us late). We also keep going as long as there are interested active members online, which is often the case... Randalls Island Full Moon and Picnic Ride

Full Moon Ride! Friday, August 28 will be a full moon. Want to ride with Brompton friends to Randalls Island and enjoy a moonlit picnic? This is a chill ride with equal emphasis on riding, socializing and enjoying the NYC evening sky. *This ride is for Brompton bicycles only.* **Meeting/Departure** We'll meet at the southeast corner of Queensbridge Park and depart punctually after 15 minutes of socializing. (Note: We need to depart on time due to timing with the sunset). Then we'll bike up to Astoria Park and cross the RFK bridge to Randall’s Island. **Sunset** We'll stop to enjoy the sunset from Astoria Park and from the RFK Bridge. **Full Moon** We'll spread our blankets at the southern tip of Randalls Island and watch the moon rise and city lights in all their splendor. **Picnic** Please bring your own beverage, picnic blanket, and snacks to share. **Return** Feel free to depart earlier, but we'll exit the island as a group around 10:00, crossing the 103rd Street Bridge to Manhattan. We'll bike down the East River and end the ride at the Manhattan side of the Queensboro Bridge. (There are path closings on the East River, so we will need to bike on 2nd Avenue for parts of this.) You can exit the ride wherever you're close to home, or bike with us to Brooklyn if that's your destination. **Route** You can view the route on [Ride with GPS](https://ridewithgps.com/routes/47093411) **What to bring** * Head light and tail light are essential * Picnic blanket if you have one * Picnic snacks or food to share * Your own beverages The bathrooms on Randalls Island are often closed, so please plan accordingly. There are no services, so make sure to bring enough food and drink. If want you to join at Randall's Island at 7:45pm, let us know in the comments. This ride is all about the evening sky. Rainy, drizzly or very cloudy weather will cancel this ride. **Please maintain your RSVP** If you can't attend, please update your RSVP so someone from the waiting list can have your spot. Riders with a history of "no shows" may be removed from the ride in favor of others on the waiting list. **Please respect the waiting list** We need to maintain our maximum rider-to-ride-leader ratio, so please respect the waiting list, thanks! Bronx Tennis @ Seton Park, Every Saturday Year 'Round

I have renewed our Saturday Year 'Round listing. We play every Saturday year 'round as long as it is at least 34 degrees and the courts are dry. This is a competitive tennis group requiring a certified rating of at least 3.0. We do not accept beginners. Saturday sessions are limited to eight (8) players plus a ninth designated reserve player, and we will have a waiting list. Check the "comments" section for the starting time each week, which will either be 11 AM in colder weather, or 10 AM as the weather heats up. Bring your tennis permit, a new can of balls and a positive attitude. Every member in good standing is invited as long as you register by midnight of the prior day, you are fully vaxxed, and you rate at least 3.0.

They are consistently well attended. Must prepay to attend.)* Summer is a great time to meet new people and make new friends! Come expand your social circle at this fun and friendly event! Prior to the event, we will provide you with some ice breaker questions that you can use, or you can make up your own. At the event, participants will be broken up into groups of 3-4 people. The group will stay together for about 5-10 minutes and at the end of the round, half of the participants will move to a new station and start a new round, meeting new people. \*\*\*\*\*1 item minimum purchase (drinks, non alcoholic is ok, and/or food) FAQs: **How many will attend?** This is a MULTI-GROUP partner Meetup. We will have a good number of members attending. **Can I come alone?** Yes. 95% of those attending will be coming on their own.
