**UX Hub** is thrilled to welcome you to our next event, hosted at Preply's offices in Barcelona! **Design is changing, but it's definitely not dead** Every AI tool launches ships with a eulogy for design. This talk argues that the hot takes have it backwards: AI has transformed the cost of executing design work, gathering data, analysing it, ideating, prototyping, and even shipping code, but it hasn't touched the part that was always the point. The thinking. Drawing on how the design team at Preply works with AI day to day, Tim explores the traps waiting inside this new speed: mistaking fluency for intelligence, mistaking a fast answer for the right one, and the recursive slop loop where AI-generated work trains the next generation of AI, raising the floor while quietly lowering the ceiling. The conclusion is optimistic. Design isn't disappearing, its stages are being redistributed between human and machine. Clay, Cookies & Create - taller de ceramica/ceramics/pottery

Are you looking to try out ceramics or up-skill your existing knowledge? Look no further! This workshop is standalone or you can book a block of 4 that need not be consecutive. It takes place in a very spacious and bright studio and you are welcomed to come with your own ideas or simply follow along and let your creativity blossom during the mindful 3 hours of making. The main technique used during the session is hand-building giving you the option to create functional ware or small sculptural work. Beginners will be guided through the process using techniques such as slab building, coiling, pinching, texturing and surface decoration. The more advanced will be free to create and those with experience throwing would be welcomed to use the wheel which would need to be reserved in advance. Those of you who would like to learn about glazing would need to book 2 workshops. The workshops are mainly run in English but I do speak Catalan and Spanish. They also provide a great opportunity for non-native speakers to practice their English. Haremos un tramo del **Camí de Sant Jaume** (Camino de Santiago) hasta el Santuario del Lord y recorreremos desde sus altas montañas hasta los saltos de agua que son el nacimiento del río con rutas de **nivel** **medio**-fácil (15 km., 500m. desnivel). 💦 Como recompensa un día nos daremos un baño en la playa del **precioso e impresionante embalse** y otro en la cascada de los 12 chorros.
