The 11th RPG Event: Mystery of Mirewood (DnD 5.5e)

**THE RPG EVENT** We are pleased to announce the 11th RPG event of the **Barcelona Roleplaying Community**, where we'll have 7 tables with totally different and unique games. Everyone is welcome to join, from experts to first-time players; no experience is needed or knowledge about the system. We will play in **ENGLISH**. The cost of participation is **10 EURO**, which you will pay at the entrance. **THE ADVENTURE**: Mystery of Mirewood **GAME MASTER**: Philip **SYSTEM**: DnD 5.5e **DESCRIPTION**: The small town of Mirewood has suddenly gone quiet. Those who venture there tend to never return, and the few who do are seemingly struck with madness, ranting about curses and undead. The Council of the Kingdom has put up a bounty for adventurers to venture to the Mirewood swamps and discover what has occurred there. This one-shot is targeted towards players new to DnD, teaching the basics of the game, no prior knowledge is necessary. There will be pregenerated lvl1 characters to pick from. Tone: horror (mild), mystery, occult. Safety: Skeletons, ghosts, blood, abuse, mind control, decayed humanoids. **PLACE**: We will play at the [ARCHIVO ARCANO](https://www.archivoarcano.com/). You are the best in your class, but all you can do is simple, very basic magic—the Weave is not strong on Toril. *What future can I have in this world?* you wonder as you lie on your bed in your dorm room on the last day of summer. Last day in Castle Perilous. All job applications declined. No one needs a *charlatan*, and the academy itself needs only servants. What was a childhood dream—to ride the waves of the Weave—becomes a horrid omen of a tough beginning. But then you *feel* a demanding call from the Arch Magicus Jeel. What begins as a bizarre murder investigation soon leads into old secrets, impossible evidence, and a situation that becomes increasingly difficult to contain. (After Disaster), there is a threat brewing underneath the irradiated ocean and an unusual intelligence seeks heroes to be able to combat it. These heroes will soon find themselves in the depth of the irradiated ocean in a research facility, a relic of the old world, pushing through a menagerie of mutant genetic experiments. Will our heroes thwart the brewing evil of the deep? Or will their stories end silenced beneath the irradiated waves? This is a level 2 adventure, characters will be provided. **THE RPG EVENT** We are pleased to announce the 11th RPG event of the **Barcelona Roleplaying Community**, where we'll have 7 tables with totally different and unique games. Everyone is welcome to join, from experts to first-time players; no experience is needed or knowledge about the system. We will play in **ENGLISH**. The cost of participation is **10 EURO**, which you will pay at the entrance. **THE ADVENTURE**: Stella is Beautiful **GAME MASTER**: Lina **SYSTEM**: Perils & Princesses **DESCRIPTION**: The forest has always been dangerous. People get lost, people disappear. It happens. beginning. But lately, far too many youths have vanished, and someone needs to find out why. The good news is that you've been blessed by fairies as a child, and have a trick or two up your sleeve (even if you're not sure how useful making little birds sing with you will turn out to be). The decidedly worse news is that your party overall looks more suited for a tea party than a rescue mission. And yet, the four of you appear to be your town's last glimmer of hope. Armed with what little magic you wield (and a lot of doubts you decided to ignore), you venture into the forest to uncover the mystery, and, with some luck, outsmart it. Or die trying. Tone: A creepy fairy tale for adults not afraid to indulge in investigation, improvisation, body horror, and a few other unpleasant things. Combat is possible, but probably not advisable.
