The Table Saw, Jointer, and Planer are core woodworking tools that are great for beginner and veteran woodworkers. This workshop goes over the core principles of using these tools in the Ace Workshop including certification. **Level:** Beginner **Timing:** 3.5 hours **Location:** Suite #214 Workshop **Corequisite:** Shop Basics **Certifications:** Jointer, Planner, and Table Saw **Age:** 16+ with parent or guardian also taking the class **What you will learn:** Learn how to safely operate the following tools in the Ace Workshop: * Table Saw * Jointer * Planer **What to bring:** A notebook or well-charged phone for taking notes. **What to wear:** Closed-toe shoes, short sleeves, and work clothes. Long hair must be tied back. **Safety Gear:** Eye protection, ear protection, and sanitizer will be provided. You can also bring your own. This class requires a minimum of 3 students per session. If there are not enough students, we can issue a refund, otherwise refunds are not allowed. You’ll learn about different lathe tools and how to work with lathe tools to shape wood. You’ll have an extended chance to use the lathe yourself under supervision.
