Through simple art-making activities, you'll have the opportunity to slow down, explore your creativity, and enjoy meaningful conversations in a supportive environment. This is **not** a an art class. There is no pressure to create a "perfect" artwork, and no previous art experience is needed. The focus is on the creative process, self-expression, and building community through art. Art Meets Science: EMERGENCE[Y] Exhibition at Science Gallery Melbourne

Join me for a relaxed Saturday morning wander through **EMERGENCE[Y]**, Science Gallery Melbourne's latest free exhibition. It brings together artists, scientists and collaborators from around the world to explore how we adapt to a world in flux — from the regenerative promise of stem cells to the movement of Martian winds. Think regenerative coral soundscapes, fungal fashion, First Nations knowledge of the Birrarung and a vertical city farm, all under one roof. We'll meet at 11am outside the gates of Science Gallery Melbourne, say hello, then head inside together to explore at an easy pace. There's no set tour — we'll drift through the exhibits, chat about what stands out, and enjoy the space as a group. As a bonus, local artist Dylan Martorell's **Wild Circuits** installation is on that day, bringing the junkyard to life with interactive sound sculptures made from upcycled objects and robotics. Just so it's clear: this is a casual social meetup arranged so we can go along together — it isn't run by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Science Gallery Melbourne. Science On Show — Melbourne Museum (National Science Week)

Join me for a relaxed day of science, curiosity and good company at **Science On Show**, Melbourne Museum's annual celebration of National Science Week. For one day only, the Museum opens up its collections and the scientists behind them — think rare specimens, hands-on displays, pop-up talks and live quizzes. We'll meet outside the main gates at 9:30am, head in together to scan our tickets, then explore the program at our own pace. There's loads on: meet the experts behind the collections, get hands-on with meteorites and cell counters, catch talks on everything from blue whales and dinosaurs to volcanoes and platypuses, and drop in on the Discovery Stage for quizzes, storytime and demonstrations throughout the day. There's no set route — some of us may stick together, others will wander off to whatever sparks their interest and meet back up along the way. Come for an hour or make a full day of it. Just a heads-up: this is a casual social meetup so we can head along together — it isn't run by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Museums Victoria or Melbourne Museum. The Gothic Bank

Have a browse of the museum, explore and sketch in the historic gothic bank. "Considered the finest secular Gothic-Revival building in Australia, this building was completed in 1887 and is renowned for the splendour of its interior. Today, it is the headquarters of the ANZ World Headquarters and home to the ANZ Banking Museum, which tells the story of Australia's banking heritage through displays of currency, money boxes, office machines, firearms, gold-mining equipment and uniforms. Originally erected as the head office of the English, Scottish and Australian Bank, the top two floors were the residence of George Verdon, general manager of the bank. The bank expanded in 1922 to occupy adjacent buildings on both streets. In 1990, all three buildings were extensively restored."
