Think regenerative coral soundscapes, fungal fashion, First Nations knowledge of the Birrarung and a vertical city farm, all under one roof. We'll meet at 11am outside the gates of Science Gallery Melbourne, say hello, then head inside together to explore at an easy pace. There's no set tour — we'll drift through the exhibits, chat about what stands out, and enjoy the space as a group. As a bonus, local artist Dylan Martorell's **Wild Circuits** installation is on that day, bringing the junkyard to life with interactive sound sculptures made from upcycled objects and robotics. July is for the letter G! It was a bit tricky coming up with ideas, but with the help of member feedback, we managed to curate some intellectually stimulating and aesthetically pleasing venues within walking distance of Glenferrie train station. **ITINERARY** 11am: Meet at entrance of National Communications Museum (375 Burwood Road, Hawthorn). Enjoy the exhibitions and informative displays, including a trip back in time to remember how we used to communicate before smartphones and wifi. 12pm: Reconvene to walk over to Town Hall Gallery to view the exhibitions. 12.45pm: Time for lunch. Plenty of options on Burwood Road and around the train station. Join me for a Planetarium Night at Scienceworks, where we'll settle in under the dome for Flow: Visions of Time, a 57-minute fulldome film at the Melbourne Planetarium. This is the 9pm art-film session: lean back, look up, and let a fully immersive, all-around-you screening wash over you. Museums Victoria describes these late sessions as an immersive voyage into unseen worlds, and there's a bar if you'd like a drink in planetary surroundings. We'll meet outside the Melbourne Planetarium at 8:30pm to say hello, then head in together for the 9pm session, which wraps up around 10pm. Join me for an easy going afternoon exploring and learning together at the Melbourne Museum. We'll have time to chat and meet new friends as we wind our way through the Melbourne Story, the living Forest Gallery and the dramatic Dinosaur Walk. We'll immerse ourselves in the newest exhibition, Our Wondrous Planet, a multisensory gallery where ecosystems and wildlife reveal the incredible connections of life on Earth, with large-scale projections, hands-on interactives, and stories bringing together First Peoples knowledge with modern science. We'll finish up at the Museum Market Cafe to enjoy a coffee and conversations together and share the highlights of our visit. Fiber Lovers Adventure to the Australian Sheep and Wool Show

Join us as we travel together to the Australian Sheep and Wool Show, being held in Bendigo. We will gather with other passionate fibre, fashion and wearable art lovers to explore this event together. As we journey on the train from Melbourne we can craft and chat as we enjoy the scenery. We will take the shuttle from the station to the Showgrounds and meet with local Meetup guests at Gate 1. When we arrive we can enjoy exploring a huge variety of wool-related exhibitions together. **Agenda** We’ll meet at Footscray Station on platform 4 at 7.20am to catch the 7.39am Bendigo train, greeting new and old friends as we prepare to travel. You will need a MYKI card. We arrive at Bendigo at 10.02 am and walk for a few minutes to the bus depot and catch the shuttle bus to the Show. Shuttle Bus cost is a gold coin.
