\*\*Mweep Mweep!\*\*━━ or is it Beep Beep? We are a growing community of cyclists who enjoy exploring Southern California on two wheels with friends. Our rides range from leisurely social outings to challenging, high-intensity adventures and we welcome guests on all our rides. The **Black Folk™ RoadRunners Bike Group** meet every 1st Saturday morning for rides of varying difficulty, starting from various locations in and around the Los Angeles area. We also administer and record Century Challenge rides, where cyclists can test themselves on 100-mile routes. Many of our rides take place on roads and trails less traveled and our calendar also contains special rides and events, highlighted by our signature ride, *The Black Tour*, in late February. This fully supported 24-hour event includes options for Double Century, Triple, and Quad rides. Throughout the year, we challenge cyclists with other featured rides, and our social events help us replenish the calories we burn while riding. Guests and Out-of-town cyclists are welcome on every ride. Swerve 'N' Curve #26 - SBSC Annual Scooter Rally! - ALL SCOOTERS (SATURDAY)

It's RALLY TIME AGAIN! All Scooters Welcome! **The South Bay Scooter Club presents the 26th Annual Swerve 'n' Curve, celebrating 250 years of the USA, and one of the biggest and longest-running rallies in SoCal.** ***It's also usually the largest ride we participate in every year.*** For many LASG members, this is/was/will be their first big rally, and it's always memorable. This is a great chance to meet riders from all over the region, see an amazing array of scooters, and take a ride around the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula area. **Important info:** *This meetup is for the LASG group ride to the Swerve 'n' Curve rally on Saturday, September 12th. If you're meeting us in Torrance, no need to RSVP for this ride.* ***There is usually an optional pre-registration for the rally so folks can secure a pre-order t-shirt, which must be purchased in advance for the past couple of years -- please see the SBSC Facebook page for details. Please park on the north end of the lot, along Mindanao Way. The LA Scooter Group, ride to the ride will depart at 10:00 am. Please come early if you want to make sure to get fully caffeinated before we depart. Don't show up at 9:55 am expecting to have time for a leisurely coffee or breakfast. The closest gas stations are on Lincoln Blvd., east of Ralph's. There is also a gas station near the rally meetup in Torrance, \~17.5 miles from our meetup. Traffic WILL break the group up -- don't worry about catching up, just keep going down PCH. We'll regroup before the big turn at Crenshaw. Distance: We skate about 10 miles or more through Downtown Los Angeles. Difficulty: This group isn’t for beginners, but you don’t have to be a pro. We skate in the streets with traffic and go up and down hills often, so if you’re comfortable with those things, then you should be fine. Always a group of 30+, approaching 50+ during the most active months. (the goal is 200+ people at the anniversary skate in July) Announcement will be made if we are not skating for any reason, otherwise we are there EVERY week! Parking - We park at The Geffen at Moca. Its free after 7pm, otherwise it’s ~$7. The entrance is off of Judge John Aiso Street and isn’t easy to see, so dont feel bad if you can’t find it right away. Burbank/Chandler Bike Path: Pack Walk

**All breeds welcome!** Following a warmup around Whitnall Highway Park, we'll walk the pedestrian lane on a section of the Chandler bike path. Expect to maintain tight proximity as we share the road with moderate traffic, including approaching runners, pedestrians, children, strollers, and other dog walkers. Other distractions will include passing fast-moving bikes, scooters, and skateboards in the adjacent bike lanes. **Please read entire description before you RSVP.** **REQUIREMENTS:** Participants must submit a member form and participant release of liability each year. **[Click here to submit one](https://forms.gle/GzcftLq1MyLZpSG87)**. If you don't recall completing one this year, complete one now. **RULES:** ***First rule of our pack walks is to BE SAFE so that everyone has fun!*** All participants must comply to ALL guidelines below or will be asked to leave the event. 1. Participants limited. **RSVP is required to hold a spot.** As soon as you know you cannot attend, cancel your reservation. We understand last-minute changes take place; however, if you don't show up more than two times you will be placed on the wait list for future events. 2. If you feel even slightly ill (including a headache, sniffles, minor fever or even an allergy), do not attend this event. Stay home for your health and safety of others. Please maintain a 6' distance from anyone choosing to wear a mask. **MEETING LOCATION:** Gather at the Chandler Blvd. end of Whitnall Highway Park North, where the grass starts just north of the transmission towers. **PARKING:** Residential street parking along Whitnall Hwy and Chandler Blvd. **WHAT TO BRING:** Water for you and your dog. We will do some mental exercises, so bring treats (or your dog’s dinner), or a toy for rewarding them. The path is well lit, but consider bringing lights as the end of our walk will hit twilight hours. **PACK WALK DISTANCE:** About 1.5 miles **TRAIL:** Mix of sidewalk, grass, and paved street. **DIFFICULTY:** Easy **DISTRACTION LEVEL:** Medium - High: There may be periods of high traffic where we will need to share the road with oncoming and passing users of the pedestrian lane. There will also be bikes, scooters, roller skaters, skateboards, etc. passing in close proximity at higher speed, in their own dedicated lane. For nearly all of the route, there is plenty of room to step off the paved path in case you need to create extra buffer space. **LARPBO PACK WALK GUIDELINES:** #1 All dogs must be on a secure collar and leash. Dogs using e-collars must also be on a leash. Prong collars should be backed up with a carabiner. Short leashes are recommended (less than 6 feet). Retractable leashes and harnesses are not allowed as they provide little control. #2 PLEASE NO NOSE TO NOSE CONTACT (dog to dog that is). Always maintain a six-foot distance between dogs. There should be no dog-on-dog interaction. #3 Please bring doggie poo bags. #4 Make sure you bring water for you and your dog. #5 One dog per handler. No exceptions! #6 Share the road. Move to the right to let others pass. *All breeds welcome. - There will be foot traffic, critters, and several other dogs. This a weekly parkour Meetup at varying locations around Los Angeles. The first part of the Meetup aims to strengthen and prep the body for parkour training. The majority of the meetup concentrates heavily on technique, flow, and movement. The meetup is for all ages and all levels, no previous experience is required. The parkour meetup is structured as follows: (1) Warm-up (2) Conditioning (3) Technical, flow, and movement training.
