Table Top Games Afternoon (TTRPG & Board Games)
Sun, Jul 19, 1:00 PM**We're building a new community for people who love to play games: a shared love of tabletop RPGs, board games, hobby chat and good company.** We aim to create a warm, welcoming, and respectful group where people can relax, share interests, and enjoy gaming together. Led by neurodivergent people, we're neuro-affirming and LGBTQIA+-affirming. Our games afternoons offer a minimum of two bookable TTRPGs and we have plenty of tables for board gaming plus volunteers on hand to welcome and guide you to a good game from our growing collection. Shrunk to a fraction of your normal size, you'll descend into a silent jungle of poisonous blooms, carnivorous plants and unseen horrors. Every step draws you closer to a terrible truth—and further from the outside world. Some secrets were never meant to be unearthed. *TTRPG games: please note these games have a limited number of seats and might not have room on the day!* **Practical Details:** Our building is not (yet) fully accessible, there are steps down to the toilets which are not suitable for wheelchair users or those who need assistance. There are no shops in the immediate vicinity - tea (including herbals), coffee, water available + crisps and biscuits but please bring food/snacks if you think you will need it! And please note that we are a nut-free venue.

If you would like to get involved, RSVP to the event. You can bring games with you if you like, although not a requirement. 🌱**Something For Everyone:** Whether you're a seasoned board game veteran or just starting out, you're welcome. No previous experience necessary, we go through the rules before playing. We play a range of games, from lighter card and party games to epic strategies. **📌Where:** We meet at the **The Village Club** in Walthamstow, which is a 10 minute walk from Walthamstow Central underground station.. When you arrive please press the buzzer to gain entry. Just say you are joining the board game group. Come say hello and the event hosts will get you settled in. The Village Club is a member's club but you can attend our board game evening without becoming a member. As the space will stay open for the use of our group the expectation is that you will buy a drink or two to cover the cost of the bar staff. This is for players who want a fast pace with a structured "winner stays on" format. Here is the breakdown of rules: **Game Format & Scoring** • Scoring: Games are played to 7 points. • Value: 1s and 2s (standard scoring applies). • Time Limit: Each game is capped at 7 minutes to keep the rotation moving. • Check Ball: All fouls result in a check-up at the top of the key. Let’s keep it clean and competitive! **Rotation Rules** • Winner Stays On • The Streak Limit: To ensure everyone gets maximum playing time, a team must rotate off after 3 consecutive wins. • Teams of 6: Each team has one sub. Please manage your own rotations fairly so everyone catches a breather. **Essentials** • Arrive early: Please be ready to warm up 5 minutes before the start time. • Bibs: Provided on-site (or bring a light and dark shirt just in case). • Vibe: Competitive but respectful. Tuesday Board Games at The Old Frizzle, Wimbledon

There will be a selection of games already available. New members are always welcomed. We usually start with a couple of light games to get everyone involved and then split into smaller groups to play games of your choice.
