NOTE EARLIER TIME! It's been 4 years since we've sketched in Prospect Park, and fall is the perfect time. Let's explore the forests and sketch the beautiful fall colors. We'll also get to draw the majestic boathouse. **We'll meet at the entrance to the park at Lincoln Rd & Ocean Ave, right near the B/Q/S stop.** Any problems on the day of the event, I can be reached at 646-831-9816. Looking forward to sketching with you! *** IMPORTANT: In case of rain, I will let people know early in the morning if it is canceled, and then reschedule for another day. *** What makes our Meetups different from other art groups and classes? There's no instruction, but we like to share our work, and chat and be inspired. Share tips and learn from people in a casual environment where all levels of artists are welcome! Don't be shy to ask anyone anything! • We sketch for a bit, usually 45 minutes or so, and then get back together and share our drawings, and then sketch again, etc. There's usually time for 3 sketches. • Please bring your own supplies - anything you like to work with - pens, pencil, watercolor, pastel, small sketchbook or large paper, iPad, whatever suits you. • We hand out nametags so everyone can meet one another! • We take photos to share on the site later. You can climb all day with the 15$ day-pass; however, Climbs & Lines will start at 7pm and go on for 2 hours (with short breaks in between). We’ll start with some warm ups and longer poses on the wall and in the air. You can finally draw models like you’ve never been able to (except from photographs). For 7-10min poses we will gradually transition to hybrid (some models on the ground and some suspended) and finally make our way back to the ground for the last longer poses (15-20min). We’ll wrap up around 9, show what we made, and maybe even climb together after! :) Drawing supplies, Bathrooms, Snacks and Water available For questions contact Zovi at @zoviism
