From Storytelling Barcelona
4.8

We're back in full force after a month-long break, with the EXES💔 People we loved. People we left. People who still live in our bodies long after they’re gone. Give us stories of former lovers, former friends, former selves. Clean breaks and messy endings. Exes who disappeared—and those who never really did. As always, interpret the theme freely. **As always, interpret the theme freely.** 📍 **Where:** Café El Noa Noa, C/Villarroel 71, Eixample 🕢 **When:** Wednesday, Sept 16th **Time:** Doors at 19:00 — Stories from 19:30 to 21:30 💶 **Free entry** \| **Donations welcome** **Please come just to listen or get on stage,** be vulnerable, and share with us, a diverse group of welcoming and open people who are curious about each others' lives. Stories will last from 7 to 10 minutes. Expect ten stories plus an intermission. **Storytelling Barcelona is a completely free event run by volunteers.** We welcome everyone to get on stage! Absolutely no experience is necessary. We only ask that stories be true and personal and that they are performed as opposed to read—and they should be stories instead of philosophical musings, motivational speeches, or stand-up routines. The content is completely at the discretion of the storyteller as long as it is related in the monthly theme and respectful to the diversity and experiences of all humans. **Interested in sharing a story?** Spots are volunteer-based and given on a first come, first serve basis. [Sign up through our form](https://forms.gle/gDY6vAA7fdiBwAC4A). For any questions or concerns, reach out to us via DM! find us on Instagram @storytellingbarcelona **Bring some cash for the tip jar!** We will always remain free because we want to be an event open to everyone! We do have a donation jar at the event that helps sustain the project, so bring some extra change and toss it in. **No RSVP needed to be part of the audience** — just walk in, grab a seat, and join us for an evening of community, courage, and connection. We also have a podcast if you want to enjoy stories from home called **[What Lingers.](https://www.instagram.com/whatlingerspod)** You can find it on all podcast platforms!

Barcelona Rooftop White Party | R&B, Sea Views & New People

Barcelona Rooftop White Party | R&B, Sea Views & New People

Thu, Oct 1, 4:00 PM
From Nomad House Barcelona
4.8

**Just moved to Barcelona?** Amazing city. Slight problem... **You don't know anyone yet.** And apparently making friends as an adult requires slightly more effort than sitting next to someone in class and deciding you're now best friends. So we're putting a few hundred people who are in exactly the same situation together on a rooftop overlooking Barcelona. Add R&B, drinks, sunset, a white dress code and some locals who actually know where they're going after Google Maps stops working. Seems like a reasonable solution. On **October 1st, Nomad House x RnB Sessions x BCNglobals are taking over the rooftop at Time Out Market Barcelona** for a night dedicated to meeting new people and starting your Barcelona experience properly. And because apparently a rooftop overlooking Barcelona wasn't enough... We're making the first edition a **WHITE PARTY.** This night is for **newcomers, internationals and locals** who want to expand their social circle. No awkward networking. No name tags. Just a rooftop, R&B, drinks and a lot of people who are there for exactly the same reason. **Location** We're doing this at **Time Out Market Barcelona**, on top of Maremagnum. That means rooftop vibes with views across the **sea, port, Barcelona and the mountains** while the sun goes down and the city lights come on. Not the worst place to meet your new Barcelona friends. **R&B all night.** RnB Sessions will be taking care of the music, so expect R&B classics, throwbacks and newer sounds as we move from sunset into the night. **Dress Code: WHITE** Yes, we're committing. White shirt. White dress. White trousers. Come looking like you're about to spend three months on a yacht despite taking the metro to get here. **Practical Stuff** 📅 **Thursday, October 1st** 📍 **Time Out Market Barcelona, Maremagnum** 🤍 **Dress code: WHITE** 🎶 **Music: R&B** 🎟️ **Ticket required** **Important: clicking RSVP on Meetup does NOT guarantee your spot. Only a ticket does.** The whole point of this night is that you shouldn't need to already know people in Barcelona to have people to go out with. ### **\>\> TICKETS <<** Wear white. Meet some strangers. Hopefully leave with fewer strangers. **Nomad House x RnB Sessions**
