Walk It Off SF: Women’s Sunday Walking Group

Walk it off with us. A relaxed Sunday walk along the Embarcadero with good conversation and an easy way to meet people. This is especially for women who are divorced, separated, or just doing life on their own and wanting a bit more connection. We’ll start at Chase Center and head towards the Ferry Building, with the option to grab coffee after. Easy pace. No pressure. Most people come not knowing anyone. Sunday, May 31st at 10 am. If you’ve been meaning to get out more, this is a good excuse to do it.

Oy, does he wonder! So he asked a bunch of couples what brought them together and keeps them from pulling apart. Meet a Jewish couple who met on Craigslist, an interfaith pair who met at a Halloween party, and more. Come Sing Show Tunes!

This event consists of an informal concert in which the performers are all of us! We'll take turns singing Broadway show tunes. All musical levels are welcome, whether you're an aspiring musical theater star or just someone who belts out show tunes in the shower. If you feel shy about singing a solo, it's okay to come and listen. We'll also do some group singing. Please think ahead and pick one or two solos you'd enjoy singing (this is not a firm commitment, you can change your mind if you get the jitters). Depending on how many people choose to sing, you'll either get to sing one or both of your songs. We don't always have an accompanist, so after you pick your songs, please search for suitable accompaniments on YouTube (you can search for "Songname karaoke" or "Songname accompaniment"). The Improv Dojo is a place to do improv. It is a chance to play, explore and develop. We explore scene work, theater games and related acting exercises. It is part drop-in class and part practice session. The Improv Dojo is for improvisors ready to explore . Beginning and experienced improvisors welcome. Dojo attendees include Pan troupe members, Dojo regulars and people brand new to improv. Whether you're a beginner looking to try improv for the first time or a more seasoned player looking for a chance to play - the Improv Dojo is for you.
