Hosted by Wild Ones Columbus Learn how to clean native plant seeds for the annual seed swap NATIVE plant Seed Cleaning Saturday, November 14th, 2026 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (Eastern Time) Sharon Woods Spring Hollow Lodge (Public Welcome, Free Event Hands-On/How-To Workshop, Wheelchair Accessible, Public Restroom, Free Public Parking) Time: TBA, tentatively 10am-noon This hands-on event is for beginner and experienced seed cleaners. We'll be demonstrating how to clean native seeds in preparation for our annual Seed Swap (scheduled for January 9, 2027). If you are new to seed cleaning, you'll learn seed cleaning techniques from more experienced chapter members. Please, native seeds only! Feel free to bring your own native seed to learn how to clean it. Note: non-native seeds won't be permitted to prevent possible contamination with native seeds. Seeds will be registered upon entry. This is a fun, low-key, rock painting activity. I will supply rocks and paints and some ideas. No pressure. Just your chance to create little pieces of joy that you can leave behind wherever you go. You are welcome to bring other mediums like paper or watercolor paints, etc. if you want to create on/with something else.
