Pot Luck in the Park!

Inspired by our successful events like "Saturday Mornings @ East Market" and other "Pot Luck in the Park" lunches, this gathering promises to be a blend of fun conversations, language exchange, and cultural insights, all while sharing wonderful foods with each other. **Please bring a dish to share and anything you would like to drink.** We will provide plates, plastic silverware and napkins. So, come hungry and ready to chat! Note: Meetup has recently raised their charge to us to maintain our account. They are charging us $300 for one year. In addition to that fee, we have been purchasing any paper goods and supplies needed to carry on our activities. So we are asking that our members help out by donating $5 or whatever they are able to at each Pot Luck Meeting so that we can continue to have the wonderful activities that we do. Many Thanks! Columbus Museum of Art, Free Admission Sundays

Let’s meet and wander the galleries! General admission on Sundays is free. We'll be meeting in the sculpture garden area at the meeting time, which is just outside the cafe area by the main entry. When you approach the front desk/main entry area there will be some seating just outside the cafe area. If you can meet us there by 11:15 we'll head into the gallery area as a group, but if you arrive after that time feel free to message us through the meetup app, and we'll do our best to connect you with the group!

Silent Disco!

**Silent Discos** are popping up all around Downtown. Flip through stations of chart-toppers and hot hits while dancing to the beat at outdoor block parties. **How it works**: You grab some headphones and find the tune that moves you and...move. The silly part is, your friend may be on a different channel (and moving to a different beat)! [The Junto](https://thejuntohotel.com/) is a fav spot to gather. Rooftop bar. Open air bar streetside. Lobby for lounging. Come by early for Easy Hour - discounted drinks and apps **Parking**: drive around the block to find *street parking* or *lots near COSI*. Parking garages under the condo units are great but usually $20 for events.

Greek Festival - Opa!

Please join me at the Annual [Greek Festival](https://www.columbusgreekfestival.com) on Labor Day weekend featuring the food, music and culture of Greece. One of the best summer festivals to immerse you in the arts, shopping, music and dance, but especially the food! **COST**: $5.00 adults. Good all weekend. Includes live music, dance and tours of cathedral. Food, drink and shopping extra. The Greek cooks make 8600 Spanakopites, 6700 Tyropites and 7600 Dolmathes in preparation for the fest. Burn off all those calories as young dancers engage you in fun Greek line dances. Jefferson Park Hike

Join us this Tuesday for a 2 mile hike around the paved and dirt paths at Jefferson Community Park. The flat walking trail includes smooth paved perimeter loops alongside mulched and mowed nature paths. Join us for this hike around this peaceful 28 acre park in Blacklick.

The Completely Series - (P.M.) Gallery Hop/Short North - Field Shoot

Gallery Hop / Short North Photo walk and street shooting. OSU is playing Ball State at home at 12:30 pm so many fans may come to the Short North to celebrate. We typically walk North on one side of the street under we reach Standard Hall where we stop for a break...can you say food and drink?....and then make our way back south on the other side of the street. These events on the schedule are to serve three purposes: 1. These will serve as field shoots targeted at The Completely 2. Series homework. Generally, each of these shoots will focus on the homework assigned in the two prior weeks. So locations and topics will be picked to match those expectations. 3. Additionally, these events are to serve as placeholders for TIME OF DAY. They are intended to be modified as needed to capture SUNSET and/or EVENING light. They will likely be modified to time out for the IDEAL light on that day, at that location. EXPECT THEM TO BE MODIFIED as the time of year changes and/or schedule conflicts occur. But THERE WILL BE at least one evening shoot per month. 4. Lastly, they are also to serve as semi-monthly evening shoots for the group as a whole. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE IN THE COMPLETELY SERIES to attend any of these morning field shoots. Locations and specifics will be updated as the event date approaches.
