Meetup focuses more on group activities rather than facilitating 1-on-1 connections. However, by attending group events and engaging with members, 1-on-1 friendships can naturally form over time.

While many groups conduct their activities in English, multicultural Melbourne might have civic groups that use other languages. Check group descriptions for language details, if this informs your participation choice.
