New Realtor Workshop: Getting Started

New Realtor Workshop: Getting Started

Fri, Aug 14, 1:30 AM
From Southern California New Realtor Network

An educational workshop for newly licensed California Realtors to learn, ask questions, and connect with other real estate professionals. ## Event Description Just earned your California real estate license? Join us for an educational workshop created specifically for new Realtors who want to better understand how the real estate business works beyond the licensing exam. This session will cover many of the practical questions new agents ask as they begin their careers, including: • How do I find my first clients? • What happens after I meet my first buyer or seller? • Choosing the right brokerage for your professional goals There will also be time for questions, discussion, and networking with other new real estate professionals. This workshop is educational in nature and is intended to help attendees better understand the real estate profession. **Complimentary hors d'oeuvres will be served.** ## Our Community The Southern California New Realtor Network is more than a workshop series. Our goal is to create a welcoming community where newly licensed real estate professionals can meet others entering the industry, exchange ideas, ask questions, and continue learning together. In addition to educational workshops, members are encouraged to participate in networking events, group discussions, Q&A sessions, coffee meetups, and other opportunities to connect with fellow Realtors throughout Southern California. Whether you're looking to expand your professional network, meet other new agents, or simply learn from shared experiences, this community is designed to help members connect with one another while growing their understanding of the real estate profession. ## Meet the Speaker The workshop will be led by **Syd Leibovitch**, Founder & President of Rodeo Realty. Since founding Rodeo Realty in 1986, Syd has spent nearly four decades working in residential real estate throughout Southern California. Throughout his career, he has mentored and educated thousands of real estate professionals and frequently speaks on topics related to the housing market, professional development, and the real estate industry. This workshop is part of the Southern California New Realtor Network, where members can continue learning, meet fellow real estate professionals, and participate in future educational and networking events throughout the year.

Energetic & Somatic Fashion Styling Workshop

Energetic & Somatic Fashion Styling Workshop

Sun, Aug 16, 11:00 PM
From Come Home to Yourself - Women’s Gatherings

Join us in person for an immersive workshop exploring the connection between your style, your body, and your energy. Energetic & Somatic Fashion Styling Workshop An intimate gathering for women. What if getting dressed could change how you feel? What if your clothing wasn't just style — but a way to support your nervous system, your energy, and how you move through the world? This women-only workshop is an invitation into the subtle, often unspoken relationship between what you wear and how you experience yourself. Together, we'll explore clothing as a form of embodiment — tuning into how different colors, textures, and silhouettes impact your sense of safety, confidence, and expression. Through somatic awareness and gentle inquiry, you will be guided inward to explore why a piece called to you — what energy it holds, what it awakens in your body, and what it says about the part of you that chose it. Is it the color that holds space for your creativity? The silhouette that allows you to feel fluid and free? The texture that soothes your nervous system when the world feels like too much? This is the foundation of Energetic & Somatic Fashion Styling — the belief that what we wear is never just style. It is a nervous system experience. It is an act of self-expression. It is a language the body speaks before the mind catches up. This is not about trends or rules. It's about learning to listen. You'll leave with a deeper awareness of your body, a new relationship to your wardrobe, and a felt sense of how to dress in a way that supports the energy you want to embody — whether that's grounded, open, powerful, soft, or fully expressed. For the woman who senses there's more to style than what meets the eye — and is ready to explore the quiet power of what she wears. What to bring: Please bring a journal or notebook, a pen, and wear or bring a favorite outfit or meaningful piece of clothing, as it will be incorporated into a guided exercise during the workshop. Important Details: Please plan to arrive by 3:45 PM, as doors will close promptly at 4:00 PM to preserve the integrity of our shared, intimate space. If you are unexpectedly delayed, kindly email Faith at faith.mahastudio@gmail.com to inform her. About the Host: Faith Perrin is the founder of MAHA Studio, a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, and a somatic and energetic fashion stylist. With over six years of experience in trauma-informed care and meditation facilitation, she works at the intersection of nervous system regulation, embodiment, and personal style — bridging psychological depth with embodied practice and supporting women in cultivating clarity, coherence, and authentic self-expression. Her approach is rooted in a simple question: what shifts externally when we become internally aligned? Through her work, Faith invites a deeper relationship with self — where what you wear, how you feel, and how you show up begin to move in harmony. She helps women understand not just what they wear, but why — and what it reveals about who they are becoming. Learn more about MAHA Studio at mahastudio.co
