The Hollywood Sculpture Garden is really a neat place . . . AND WE GET TO VISIT AND HAVE A SOCIAL THERE!!! It's located on private property and not normally open to the public. So it is indeed a special thing for us to go. (for free) Now . . . About this event: It is outdoors in a super-funky, pretty and cute location of The Hollywood Sculpture Garden. **This is intended as a "New To Meetup Mixer." Meaning if you are new to Meetup, or new to the group, been in the group for a while but not attended an event or even just new to the city, . . . then come.** A perfect way to meetup some quality people over some even better wine. **And very perfect if this is your first meetup ever!! Come join us.** If you are an existing member, . . . then you are equally welcome. After all . . who will be the welcome wagon for all the new people? Now . . . This is a very friendly, NO EGO, free martial arts meetup based on the virtues of wisdom, courage, justice, and discipline. A place where we can train together, share ideas, and learn from each other. Whether you are totally new to martial arts or have been training for years, we welcome everyone. The plan for training is pad work, drills, self-defense practice and, when people feel comfortable, light and supportive sparring. Our backgrounds are in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do (JKD), and Wing Tsun Kung Fu, but any martial artists or beginners are welcome with good virtues. If you join, please reach out to the organizer, so we can check in before you attend the first meetup. We just want to ensure everyone is on the same page with the training. Let's grow together!
