Whether you're a long-time Wonderland fan or just curious about what we're brewing, this is your official invitation to step through the looking glass and join our queer-centered, trans-inclusive, ally friendly, tea community.** **🫖 What to Expect** **This inaugural tea party is all about warm welcomes, sweet treats, fabulous company, and setting the tone for our monthly adventures together. Think of it as a cozy meet-and-greet with extra sparkle.** **Here's what we have planned:** **Tea & Treats: A spread of assorted teas, desserts, and nibbles to enjoy throughout the afternoon. Potluck-style contributions are welcome if you'd like to bring something to share!** **Meet & Mingle: Relaxed social time to connect with fellow Wonderland enthusiasts. No pressure, no awkward icebreakers—just genuine conversation over a good cuppa.** **Dress-Up Encouraged: Come dressed as your favorite** **Wonderland character or inspired look! Alice, the Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts, Tweedledee, the Caterpillar—or invent your own Wonderland persona. Makeup, wigs, accessories, and full glam all welcome. Not feeling the costume vibe? Come as you are—you're still family here.** **Photo Corner: We'll have a simple themed backdrop for anyone who wants to capture the moment. Photos are always opt-in—no pressure whatsoever.** **Future Planning Chat: We'll spend some time chatting about what you'd love to see in future meetups—venue preferences, activity ideas, themes, anything! Allies who actively support and respect our community** **Anyone 18+ who loves tea, creativity, and kindness** **Whether this is your first group meetup ever or you're a seasoned social butterfly, you belong here. Broadway lunch concert @ Bryant Park
Thu, Aug 13, 4:00 PMThe most popular shows on and off Broadway perform their biggest hits in the park! Join on the lawn and enjoy favorite Broadway tunes for a lunchtime performance. This performance includes: “Buena Vista Social Club” “Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody” "Heathers: The Musical" "Book of Mormon" "The Great Gatsby" Dress for warm weather, and stay hydrated. Bring a blanket to picnic on the lawn behind seating and drink/food (or buy on site). I will update in "Comments" actual location on the lawn day-of. Friends/family welcome. Visit to Jones Beach ⛱️
Sat, Aug 1, 2:00 PMJoin us for a relaxing day at the beach. We are catching the Long Island Railroad from Penn Station. Please purchase a ticket to Freeport - the train departs at **10:21 am**. Once we arrive at Freeport, we will go downstairs and catch the NICE's n88X bus to Jones Beach. Remember to bring a towel and sunscreen. As the sun sets on a beautiful fall evening, you’ll see amazing images dating back to before the park even existed, along with vintage photographs from the late 1800s and early 1900s.
