Hampton Court to Windsor FREE BANK HOLIDAY RIDE

A hastily added Bank Holiday Weekend ride and a local one...at last. This is an old favourite off-road route which starts at Hampton Court Station at 10.00 and ends at Windsor at around 16.00. It follows the Thames Path to Weybridge and then by the Wey Navigation and the Basingstoke Canal to Woking. Heading north from Woking we cross Horsell Common and pass McClaren's F1 manufacturing facility, a futuristic building set in parkland. We stop at Fairoaks Airport's Owen's Cafe for coffee and a bite and then continue north to Virginia Water and take a less travelled off-road route through woods and heathland to Windsor Great Park finishing at Windsor & Eton Station where we can travel by train to Twickenham or Richmond or onward to London. An easy ride as it's mostly flat. MTBs or Gravel bikes are best for this trip. CYCLING CAN BE DANGEROUS YOU JOIN OUR RIDES AT YOUR OWN RISK
