We are going to Caven Point natural reserve, between Port Liberty and Liberty State Park. Please note: There is no public transport available. But for those arriving by car there is parking. Parking is free and so is the entrance to the park. Caven Point is an ecologically unique area; habitat for many species including migrating birds. It features sandy beach, saltwater marshland, and boardwalk trail. it is one of two wetlands in NYC to have survived in its natural state. It is an important site for native birds nesting as it is positioned right on the Hudson River Estuary, serving as a critical late-fall pitstop and overwintering ground. Waterfowl usually spotted in November is the brant, mallard, horned grebe, and peregrine falcon among others. Bring waterproof boots and telephoto lenses.

We do boot camp style exercises, so think pushups, situps, planks, squats, burpees, etc. There's a lot of smiles and laughing involved, too... (and the high fives will come back as we leave the COVID era behind!) Not sure how to do burpees? Pike jumps? Dragon Pushups? That's fine! We'll teach you. This is an awesome way to rock your body and get fit fast. We welcome all fitness levels! Even if you have not worked out in years we want you to join us. Working out with fun, encouraging people in a group setting is better than trying to do this all on your own. EVERYBODY IS WELCOME!

Night Horseback Ride, BBQ & Forest Party

We'll saddle up as the sun dips below the treeline, soaking in golden hour and the peaceful rhythm of the forest trails before the stars come out. Once the ride wraps, we'll gather around a roaring fire for a well-earned feast, great company, and maybe even a few ghost stories. This adventure is perfect for riders of all experience levels, whether you're brand new to horses or haven't ridden since summer camp. Whether you're chasing adventure or just craving a break from the city, this crisp autumn night in the forest is the perfect fall escape. Spots are limited, so secure yours before they ride off into the sunset. Come join me for the last (probably) foliage hike of the season! We'll do a loop past two lakes and over several great view points.
