Cylce & dine - Wagencafé Eberswalde

Cylce & dine - Wagencafé Eberswalde

========== FACTS ========== ROUTE: Eberswalde > Finowkanal > Biesenthal > Bernau LEVEL: Easy-Peasy to Intermediate DISTANCE: 35ish kms MEETING POINT: 09:00 - Berlin Südkreuz ========== FACTS ========== ========= DETAILS ========= **ROUTE:** Recommened by a member the Wagencafé in Eberswalde is founded by a Philosopher and received quite a few raving reviews. So, why not just popping over and have a chat!? And a coffee! And maybe a cake? The cafe is just a few kms after the train station and once we all had enough, coffee & chat, we head further on a former towpath with a gorgeous view across the Finowkanal, passing the bridge where it's said the famous autor Theodor Fontane had kissed his later wife the first time (well, when the bridge was still part of the Weidendammbrücke in Berlin). But also a former Paper- and Brass factory are interesting places along the way. Once we leave the towpath after about 10km we head south, passing an old Airfield and then cycling mainly through nature. In Biesenthal is another chance for a quick stop, just in case the energy from the first coffee has burned down. From there its just 10 more km to the train station in Bernau, were we can hop into the S-Bahn or, for the stronger amongst us, head further to Berlin. All in all a relaxed tour on a hopefully sunny day! **SPEED:** Leisurely around 14 km/h, at least if the wind doesn't come from the front. This is like "Being able to see the details on the side of the road and enjoying the view in general… and have a chat." **DISTANCE AND TERRAIN:** This is an about 35ish km ride, with mainly solid but also some forrest or soft ground. In general: Bikes with thin tyres (Race bikes, Road bikes, Fixies), rented bikes (Uber, Swapfiets) or any special bikes (Folding bikes, BMX etc.) are not suitable! You won't have fun, trust me! And if you want to bring Kids or Animals please get in touch before! **MEETING POINT:** 09:00 - Berlin Südkreuz, at the ticket machine at the NORTHERN END (facing the TV tower) of the platform. I have a blue Villiger Trekking bike. But you can hop in at any other station if you want (and dare). **TICKET:** It is 8,10 way out / person and 5,00 (Berlin ABC) way back, so it doesn't make much sense to organise a BBT. But don't forget your "[24-hour ticket bicycle VBB network](https://www.vbb.de/en/tickets/tickets-for-your-bicycle/24-hour-ticket-bicycle/)" ticket which is about 7,50 EUR. **WAY OUT:** 09:10 - dep. Berlin Südkreuz, platform 6, taking RE3 towards Stralsund 10:02 - arr. Eberswalde, platform 3 **WAY BACK:** Any S-Bahn we catch in Bernau. But you can head further back to berlin, if you feel so. **RECOMMENDATIONS:** Check the train schedule in the morning! The DB loves to stir up the plans by changing trains on short notice! If anything happens the Meeting point is the starting point of the cycling. While we'll stop somewhere for a lunch and/or coffee please always bring your snacks but especially some drinks along! And, PLEASE make sure your bike is in a proper state! Check your tyre pressure and oil the chain! Does your light work? Having a toolset is highly recommended and a spare inner tube to fix a flat tyre a big plus! While we might be able to help in some circumstances please think about what happens if we can't! Thank you! Bringing special equipment (Helmet, safety vest etc.) is NOT required but welcome if you feel more safe using it. And in case you need special medical treatment please make me aware of that upfront. Even if everyone is responsible for themselves I'd like to be able to handle it if necessary. ========= DETAILS =========

No special experience needed - just show up and enjoy the ride. • Start & End: S-Bahn Ostkreuz • Distance: \~25 km (round trip) • Terrain: Flat, bike paths • Pace: The one you're comfortable with - we're here to relax after work, not to race • Recommended to bring: water and lights • Equipment: Up to you but you're responsible for your own safety. Ultimate Frisbee in the Park - sunset sparkle

Ultimate Frisbee in the Park - sunset sparkle

Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates. Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty. Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome. After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun. Finding us: We meet in this big grassy area, it's a short bike ride from the subway stop Rehberge on the U6 or Amrumer Strasse on the U9. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so we've got a few methods to help out (don't trust the meetup map pin, it often shows some point in the park, not the exact spot where we are) 1. GPS: 52°32'54.9"N 13°19'51.0"E ; 52.548581, 13.330842 2. Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/xbZgaXzMSMt 3. the helpful picture here https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/2/8/8/f/highres_451930383.jpeg *This event may also be photographed and/or video-recorded, and published on social media channels such as meetup and eventbrite.* *By participating, you acknowledge and accept the risk of injury while playing Ultimate. Although adherence to the rules, proper equipment, and common sense reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and, you willingly and freely assume all such risks.*

Top Rock & HIIT Dance Workout - ALL LEVELS!!!

Top Rock & HIIT Dance Workout - ALL LEVELS!!!

Tue, May 26, 5:00 PM
From Break Dance x HIIT Workouts in Berlin!!! 💃
5.0

**Combining a variety of TopRock break dance moves in the format of HIIT training, this class will be like no other you have taken! Specifically created with non-break dancers in mind, this class is fun, engaging and totally beginner friendly!** 🤸‍♀️ *What exactly is TopRock you might be asking?* Toprock is the **standup part of breakdance**. When break-dancers are showing their skills, they will often start with toprock. Beginners often find toprock to be easier than other elements of [breaking](http://%5Bhttps//www.mygrooveguide.com/dance-info/breaking/what-is-breaking%5D(https://www.mygrooveguide.com/dance-info/breaking/what-is-breaking) "breaking"), because it is done standing up. So this will be a great introduction to breaking for beginners or those wishing to expand their breakdance skills. **Taught by 3x Breakdance World Champion and Choreographer of Flying Dreams show at Wintergarten, Bboy Lou.Ease of the Flying Steps! He has also worked with contemporary dance companies such as Akram Khan Company, Wang Ramirez and Constanza Marcras / Dorkypark.** **📋 Agenda:** * *Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to class*. Please arrive on time to ensure class starts at the designated time. **💸 Cost**: *Donation of 5 euros or more* **to help with maintaining the venue and group maintenance costs.** **👉 Other Things to Note:** * *Class will be in English/German* * *Please make sure to wear comfortable clothes you can move and sweat in. Shoes should also be comfortable, although they are not mandatory. Feel free to dance barefoot or in socks if you like.* * *Bring a water bottle to refresh between sequence breaks.* * *Changing room and toilets provided on site free of charge.* * ***If you RSVP and are unable to make it, please be considerate and cancel 24 hours in advance to make space for someone else.***
