Fort Tryon Park: Phone Photo Walk to the 250 America Commemoration

**Let’s go to a 2 mile Phone Photo expedition to Fort Tryon Park for the 250 America Commemoration! There will be 18th Century music with Fifes & Drums, guided battlefields tours and reenactment of the Battle of Fort Washington. Group meets at 11:15am at Margaret Corbin circle - 190th St Stop on the A train (the elevator drops you few steps away from Margaret Corbin Plz & Fort Washington Ave). Leader will use a Pink cap. After a short visit the Heather Garden and some Hudson River Views we will head to the Festivities by the Cafe Lawn. Bring water and snacks, wear supportive shoes to walk on uneven terrain and dress for the weather in layers. This is a Social Event with lots of opportunities to practice some phone photography and video skills. Little Island provides a one-of-a-kind relationship between nature and art—a break from urban life and a connection to spontaneity and joy. It's become NYC's newest and hottest attraction! We'll make several stops along the park so that people can take pictures and admire the beautiful views. We'll circle the island a couple of times and then afterwards, we'll continue the walk along the Hudson River. During the walk, you will randomly be paired with others in the beginning then rotate at designated times so that you get to meet everyone participating. Zone Twosday Battery Park Run🗽🛥️😎 (location: in front of Nike at Brookfield)

Come and join for a zone 2 training on Tuesday mornings! Zone 2 training is to maintain at 60-70% of your maximum heart rate. It has many benefits (just ask the Internet). Basically, we will jog at a speed where we can still talk. After the run, we can grab a cup of coffee and breakfast.
