Clear Colour Collective is a dance experience created for the FLINTA community a place to move freely, express yourself, and reconnect with your body without the pressures of alcohol, drugs or judgement. Dance is more than movement. It's a chance to let go of the week, release stress, build confidence, and experience the joy of being fully present. Follow our rules below.*** 📌V**olleyball Game Rules** * Max 3 hits per team * A block does not count as one of the 3 hits * Encourage passing or setting the ball to your team mates * No double hits (except after a block) * No touching the net * Serve behind the line * Ball out = point to other team * No catching, kicking or throwing the ball * Rotate when your team wins the serve from the opponents * If your team is already serving and wins the point → no rotation * Communication is encouraged to avoid collisions (Say mine! or my ball) * No interference or distraction of the opposing team * Fix the net if loosen * Play safe and communicate with team mates * Help setup/pack up the nets and balls * Do not lose any pins We will be playing 6v6, 5v5, 4v4 at Coogee Beach on rotation so that everyone who attends gets a chance to play. We will have 2-3 nets for everyone. **Winning team stays, losing team allow next team to play. Narrabeen Beach to Newport Beach... Hike, Whales & Wine!!!

**From Balmoral Beach to Manly Beach… North Head to Long Reef Headland… and Narrabeen all the damn way up to Palm Beach there’s 65 kilometres of exquisite coastal hiking. In the past 3 weeks, we’ve trekked 54 of those kilometres and seen whales / dolphins while “Cheers’ing” with wine, so let’s complete the puzzle with an absolute cracker of an 11kilometres coastal hike that’s truly one of my favourites…. finishing at perhaps the best bar in all of Sydney.** **THE HIKE.** If “Warriedwood, Turimetta, Basin, and Bungan Beaches” kinda make you go “Huh, where?” then stop now, and hit the “Attend” button and just show up on time. You’re in for a day with some very, very special beaches. But let’s begin where our boots first hit dirt… **Narrabeen Headland** starts us off with some stunning views down the coast, and to be honest, I’ve never been to the rockpool there… slight detour to check it out. From there, it’s to **Turimetta Beach** – one of those 10/10 secret gems. The cliffs, the homes… the views. Wow. Back into the headland for some bush hiking, and we’ll descend upon **Warriewood Beach** – we’ll stop for 10min at **Sunrise Kiosk** – easily one of the cutest beach cafes from Cronulla to Palm Beach. Warriewood brings us to **Mona Vale** **Beach**, ***voted 6th best beach in the world by Condé Nast Traveller***. The rockpool (pictured) is truly something to see. **Basin Beach**, then a climb and neighbourhood walk to **Bungan Beach** (again – fantastic). Bungan’s climb will get the sweating and swearing going, then we descend down to the beautiful neighbourhood (and beach) of **Newport Beach**. I can’t believe this hike is only 11kms… there is so much damn beauty within these stunning beaches. Fancy a preview? This is somewhat of the journey you’ll see. Or, you could never argue it out of my Top 3. **[The Newport](https://merivale.com/venues/thenewport/)** has it all… views, the outdoors, great food… it’s dog friendly, and there’s plenty of perving. After hiking to Newport Beach, we’ll jump on a 5minute bus that drops directly at the pub. If you’ve never been here you’re in for a jaw-dropper. **Driving?** Be savvy, and you can find free parking by The Newport. Get there early. Then take the 199 bus down to our starting point. Hike, then finish where your car is. **Bus?** **It’s a combination of B1 (from the city at Wynyard it goes north) and 199 bus.** I’ll drop a pin in the whatsapp chat. **Spring Weekend! Newcastle - Ocean/Harbour/Whales - 15KM/14KM Medium** **WEEKEND GETAWAY IN THE AMAZING PORT CITY OF NEWCASTLE!** **SATURDAY:** From **Newcastle Beach** we head up to **King Edward Park** for a grand view of this wonderful city. We track south, along some amazing beachfronts and take a bathroom break at the heritage **Mereweather Ocean Baths**. More stunning ocean fronts lead to **Glenrock Lagoon** and our lunch break. **NO FOOD HERE: BRING YOUR LUNCH.** After lunch we go bush through to **Dudley Beach** and **Awabakal Nature Reserve** which ends at **Redhead Beach,** where we find **Club Redhea**d for a refreshment while we wait for our bus back to Newcastle CBD. **Distance:** 15 km **SUNDAY:** From **Newcastle Beach** we go historic **Fort Scratchley**, Newcastle Breakwater and **Nobby's Lighthouse.** Its then a short ferry ride ($2.50, Opal Card) across to **Stockton** where we explore the Hunter River and **stop for lunch at the local Club**. **WHALES & WHALES!** In July/August, thousands of humpback whales migrate north from Antarctica to the warm breeding waters of tropical Australia. **WHY WALK?** 1\. Would you like to live longer? Healthy\, you bet yu\! and yes it makes you happy\, feeling good inside guaranteed\. **Best for visibility! yes! photos yes!** Manly to North Head high point viewing areas are Sydney's top classified list for whale watching. Mornings when winds are typically lighter, making the ocean smoother, sun directly overhead, reducing ocean glare and making it easier to spot spouts and splashes. **BEAUTIFUL WHALE WATCHING WALK:** 1\. North Harbour Spendour! St Leonards to Milson’s Point finishing at Taronga!

**This is a lovely walk that covers the north coastline of Sydney Harbour to the west and east of Milson’s Point.** **I've re-posted this walk after it had to be cancelled a few weeks ago because public transport wasn't running.** **We start at St Leonards Train Station at 9.45am.** **From here we follow Berry Creek and make our way to Berry Island Reserve and Oyster Cove Reserve reaching the Coal Loader Wharf. There is a toilet here and a water refill station.** **We then go to Berry Bay Lookout (where the BP Fuel Terminal used to be) and then to Waverton Park and Sawmillers Reserve where the remains of a rusty shipwreck lie in the sand.** **We continue through to Lavender Bay and the beautiful Blues Point Reserve.** **From here we head to Milson’s Point via Wendy’s Garden.** **We stop for lunch at Milson’s Point.** **Then we make our way through Kirribilli (and say high to the PM if he is about), to Milson Park, Kesterton Park, Anderson Park and Cremorne Reserve. There is a toilet here and a refill station.** **Then off to Reid park and Sirius Point Reserve before making our way to Taronga Zoo Ferry Terminal, from which we will catch a lovely ferry ride to Circular Quay.** **We will aim to finish at Circular Quay by 3.30pm, from which we can catch a train to return home.** **\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*** **DISTANCE: About 16 kms.** **GRADE: Moderate, due to distance. Whale Watching: Southern Migration: Watsons Bay to Maroubra!!! 18km Medium

**Whale Watching Day!!!Southern Migration: Watson’s Bay to Maroubra 18 km (Medium)** We ferry from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay and commence our walk out of **South Head**, and along the Federation walk, navigating Diamond Bay and Dover Heights before dropping down to **North Bondi.** Leaving Bondi Beach behind, we strike out for Tamarrama and **Bronte**, where we stop for a nice lunch break of 45 minutes. Following lunch we head for Maroubra via **Clovelly and Coogee** Beaches. We stop at **Mistral Point** before marching into Maroubra where we will invade the **Maroubra Seals Club** for a tasty beer (and food if desired - its pretty tasty, I have to say!), before grabbing a bus back to the City. The ocean front scenery on this walk is stunning! Hopefully we will spot **Humpback whales** during the day; it is likely that we will. We should arrive at Maroubra by about 4:00pm. Oh, please make sure you **bring photo ID**, to gain entrance to the Maroubra Seals Club. **Distance:** 18 km **Type of Walk:** This wonderful walk is water, water, all the way! Almost the entire walk is along ocean front promenades. **Difficulty:** Medium, because of the distance. If you are unsure about the distance but would like to test yourself this is a walk for you: there are plenty of get-out points. **Walking Pace:** We will maintain a steady pace all day and average 4.5 km per hour. **Meeting Place and Transport:** We catch the Watsons Bay Ferry from Circular Quay Wharf 2. The Ferry leaves Circular Quay at 9:45 am and arrives at Watsons Bay at 10:08am.
