UPDATE: This ride is stll going ahead but now it’s to a CELEBRATION after the announcement that the federal government will not be proceeding with the proposed expansion. This is an easy, family-friendly 9 km bike ride along the western portion of Toronto's Waterfront Trail to the **[No Jets T.O. Save Our Waterfront Rally and March -and CELEBRATION](https://www.meetup.com/to-sustainability/events/315602700/).** The route is a scenic paved multi-use path which can be busy on summer days. All ages, cycling abilities, and bikes are welcome (including BikeShare)! A helmet is required for those under 18 and is highly encouraged for adult participants. Please make sure your bicycle is in good working order before the event. Dress appropriately for the weather, wear sunscreen, and bring hydration. Washrooms are along the route. **9:45 am: Meet in the middle of Humber Bay Arch Bridge** 10:00 am: Depart eastbound along Waterfront Trail 10:20 am: Pause to gather at Lake Shore Blvd W entrance to Coronation Park **10:30 am: Arrive at Harbour Square Park and lock bikes for [Rally and March](https://www.meetup.com/to-sustainability/events/315602700/)**. Hint: Leave a comment to coordinate meeting others earlier downtown, ie at 9:00 am at Harbourfront, to cycle westward to the meet the group at 9:45 am at Humber Bay Arch Bridge.

All riders who are comfortable with the distance are welcome! Our Community Rules: 1. Be kind. Welcome and encourage other riders. Insults, shaming, and hate will be removed, and offenders will be banned. 2. Your safety is your responsibility. Helmets are required. Lights are required if riding in darkness. It is each rider’s responsibility to ensure their bike is clean, well-maintained, and fully functional. 3. All bikes are welcome. Occasional Brompton-only events will be clearly labeled. Contact your local Brompton dealer if you'd like to borrow a Brompton for an event (participation may vary). 4. If your plans change, please update your RSVP.
