Frostgrave! - Campaign Games

*Chapter V: The Mad Magister's Menagerie* *Sweat beads on your brow and your breath mists in the air as you climb the endless stairs towards Frostgrave's Summit. You are over halfway now and the warrens of Lower Felstad stretch away below you like the hive of some furious insect.* *The next opportunity: the pleasure gardens of some ancient aristocrat. If they had the money to build such an opulent estate in the heart of Felstad, they have surely left something of worth here to salvage. The only problem, they must have had some kind of menagerie here before - the gardens are crawling with animals, and the predators that feed on them...* The snows are beginning to recede, revealing the shattered ruins of **Frostgrave** — a once-great city of wizard-kings, buried for centuries beneath ice and legend. Now rival sorcerers return, leading warbands into the frozen streets in search of lost spells, ancient artefacts, and forgotten power. This series is **a beginner-friendly Frostgrave Campaign running through this spring**. New joiners are more than welcome! Players will begin with a **Level 0 wizard and a 400gc warband**, venturing into the ruins to gather treasure, gain experience, and grow in power as the campaign unfolds. Most games during the campaign will be played as **multiplayer (3-4 player free-for-all) matches**, creating plenty of opportunities for **XP, gold, and some secret campaign bonuses**. Expect spellcasting, treasure hunting, wandering monsters, and plenty of wizard duels among the ruins. **New players are very welcome.** If you’ve never played Frostgrave before, this event is the perfect place to start. Spare warbands and guidance will be available for anyone trying the game for the first time. ### Not signed up? Tuesday - Small Format Games (2.5x2.5) - e.g. Blood Bowl, Kill Team, TCGs, RPGs

Sign up here to book your seat in the bar area to play small format games (roughly 2.5' x 2.5' or less). **If your game requires a 3' x 3' space or bigger please book a large table in our 'Big Tables' meetup** **to play large format games e.g. Warhammer 40K, Age of Sigmar, MESBG, Necromunda -** which are typically located in a usually quieter well lit area just a little further away from the bar area. **How to Sign Up:** 1. **State your system** (Blood Bowl, Kill Team, Underworlds etc) 2. **State your opponent(s) name(s)**. Don't have an opponent? You can find one in our community chats! Monday nights are aimed at welcoming players who are new to modern board games. We always try to make sure that someone is happy to teach games and welcome new people on the night, so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with. We don't charge a fee for attending the Meetup, but you will need to pay the venue's game session fee of £8 per person (unless you have a Gold or VIP [Ludoquist membership](https://www.theludoquist.com/collections/membership-2022)). Please arrive by 18:50 in time for everyone to get into groups for the main games to start at 19:00. We will start arriving from 18:30 if anyone wants to join early for short games and chat. We are excited to welcome you to our Social Tabletop and Party games. 👾 Before the event I will provide a link to a temporary WhatsApp group for first timers to help you find us. On this occasion we hope to bring you a thrilling deduction game of Blood On The Clocktower. Please note this can only start once enough people arrive who want to play. Blood on the Clocktower is a 5–20 player Hidden identity game (similar to Traitors, Mafia or Werewolf) where a good team tries to identify a the evil team before they eliminate the whole village. High player interaction, with unique character roles, and a Storyteller to guide the game. Our regulars always bring a wide selection, also *you are welcome to bring your own games*. If you fancy playing games, cooling off,🧉 good conversation 🍷and new friends to🍵 share plenty of laughs, we'd be thrilled to have you along

**Tabletop Tuesday** brings you some of the best and friendliest gaming in London. If you’re looking to meet new friends, play games in a welcoming community and be in with a chance to win fantastic prizes, come along to Loading (Stoke Newington) on a Tuesday evening for one of London’s best game nights. Our crew will help you find a game, make friends and have lots of fun. Just ask for Tabletop Tuesday's at the bar and we’ll help you get settled in. You're welcome to bring your own games or take advantage of the fantastic library of games we have at the bar – all for free! **Feature Game**: Each week we feature a different game. There is usually the opportunity to win a copy of this game just by playing it on the night. This is not happening at this is.
