Hyde and Seek in the Park IV

Hyde and Seek in the Park IV

Sat, Aug 29, 2:30 PM
From Social Sports Mix
4.8

We're back for the 4th year of Hyde and Seek in the Park. This event consists of the game Hyde and Seek in the Park followed by a social gathering in the park until late for those who want to stay for that. Hyde and Seek in the Park is a game of Hide and Seek where hiders have the entire Hyde Park to hide. It's similar to the game we all grew up playing with the differences being that the hiding area is far bigger and that you work in teams rather than on your own. For the event we will split up in pairs or threes, so bring a friend or two. You can also come on your own and we will find a group for you. There will be one pair of seekers at the start of the game and the rest will be hiders. Once you have been found, you will join the seekers in their quest to find the rest of the players. We will explain the rules and how everything works at the start of the event. After the game is over we will stay in the park and socialise until late. You can bring drinks and something to eat from home or get something from somewhere nearby, there's both a Sainsbury's and a Londis close to our base. There will be a pre-gathering from 14:30 until 15:30. If you are interested in that sign up here: https://www.meetup.com/socialsportsmix/events/315556126 in addition to signing up for the event itself. The Hyde and Seek game itself will start at 15:30 and last somewhere between 2 and 3 hours. We will play until everyone has been found or until a set time, which will be announced at the start of the game, has been reached. Although Hide and Seek is originally a children's game, this event is not suitable for people under 18. This event is advertised on multiple platforms, but as long as you sign up here you are guaranteed a spot for the event. Contact Stefan at 07865446560 if you have questions.
