Sydney SEO Collective - Will Wang (AI-First from Day One)

Tue, Jul 28, 8:00 AM
From SEO Collective Sydney
4.6

The Sydney SEO Collective is back for our July 2026 meetup — and this month we're stepping outside the search bubble to look at something bigger: what happens when you build an entire business around AI from day one. This month, we're thrilled to welcome Will Wang, Founder of Black Belt Consulting, to the stage. He'll be presenting: "AI-First from Day One: How We Built and Launched an $80K Online Business in 30 Days." This session is for anyone who wants to move past the AI hype and see what AI-first actually looks like in practice — the tools, the workflows, the mistakes, and the launch strategy behind a business that collected $76,979 in cash in its first month. Most businesses are trying to "add AI" to the way they already work. Will took the opposite approach and built natively around AI systems from the ground up. He'll unpack how the idea was validated, how the offer was shaped, and how AI was used across the build, marketing, sales, operations, and fulfilment. You'll walk away with a practical, behind-the-scenes look at building faster, leaner, and smarter in the AI era — and a clear sense of what actually mattered when it came time to launch. Will Wang is a growth marketer, copywriter, and entrepreneur based in Sydney. He built and sold a 7-figure marketing agency after helping more than 380 clients generate over $58 million in sales through direct response marketing, email outreach, and scalable growth systems. More recently, he launched an AI-first online business that generated $80,000 in its first month. Today, he helps business owners think sharper about offers, messaging, sales systems, and the new opportunities AI is creating for modern businesses. He's also a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt — which shapes how he thinks about business: focus, discipline, leverage, and constant improvement. The feedback we've had is that the Collective events have been a great way to meet others in the industry in a relaxed environment and share some tips and hints on what you might know that can help them become a better web marketer or developer. It's about asking those tough questions and getting group consensus on what is the possible implications or complications on a particular method or technique you're thinking of using. We encourage a mix of business owners, web developers, affiliate marketers, SEM and SEO professionals as we all have small tips that will help you perform better online and play smarter. SEO Collective is just a relaxed and informal session on digital and web marketing, come along and meet others in your community no matter if you're a business owner, consultant, in-house or part of a larger agency. ## RSVP now to claim your free ticket!

Purpose Without Profit Isn't Sustainable. Profit Without Purpose Isn't Meaningful. For years we've been told there's a choice. You can build a profitable business, or you can build a purpose-driven one. This isn't true. The businesses creating the greatest impact today understand something different. Purpose gives you direction. Profit gives you sustainability. One without the other rarely lasts. It shouldn't be so hard to do good, but that's exactly what it feels like running a Not-for-Profit (NFP). In a world full of options and information, it’s easy to feel like there are too many fish in the sea - each swimming past in a blur. **NFP Ocean** is here to make impact easier! We’re bringing together Local NFP Community leaders like you, to enjoy networking with your peers to build new relationships, open opportunities for collaboration, and to celebrate the launch of **NFP Ocean** and our Community Connection program of events. There will be a great guest speaker panel talking about the 8 Key Things your NFP needs to Thrive. Be part of shaping the future for NFPs, participate in our live polls and interactive panel. It's a chance to: * Strengthen your local connections * Gain practical insights you can apply immediately * Meet other leaders navigating similar challenges * Be part of shaping a more connected and supported NFP community Do you believe businesses should actively pursue purpose alongside profit, or should they remain separate? Whether you're a business leader, consultant, technology provider, accountant, lawyer, marketer, or an NFP leader, this conversation is relevant to you. We look forward to meeting you there and build something meaningful together. RSVP now to secure your spot (seats are limited). [https://rydeconnect.nfpocean.com/](https://rydeconnect.nfpocean.com/) Morning Tea, Nibbles, will be provided. **ABOUT** ***Kerrie Sheaves*** is the Co-Founder and CEO of NFP Ocean, an online ecosystem empowering not-for-profits - connecting them with the resources, support, and trusted service providers they need to thrive. An experienced NFP Board member and current Member Elected Councillor for BusinessNSW, with a demonstrated 30+ yr career working in major corporates, with small business owners and leading NFP organisations.
