We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. Weekly Japanese & English Conversation

Members of all levels are welcome, from absolute beginners on up, and there is never a prerequisite. Native speakers are also encouraged to attend, both to lend their expertise and to receive the benefit of a look at the structure of Japanese from an outside linguistic perspective. This is an opportunity to practice Japanese conversation, discuss, explore and study the grammar, particles, Kanji, idioms and of course the culture of Japan (members share their Japanese experience). The topics vary among all these according to what people are interested in talking about and the natural flow of conversation. Moreover, native Japanese speakers are encouraged to practice their English (and/or ask questions about various difficult situations in their English studies) in exchange for their assisting Japanese language students.
