Japanese Meetup at Nordic Bar, 26th May

This is a Meetup event at a different venue as a trial. With the rising temperatures.. and prices at the usual venue I wanted to try a different option. This will be at the Nordic bar 25 Newman St, just off Oxford Street, Tuesday 26th May. The format is the same as usual, nice and informal and for language exchange, networking and chatting about Japan or UK etc.

AnimanJapan Anime & Manga Club!

If you love anime & manga then please join us for our weekly meetups, where we basically just sit, chat and read anime & manga! We usually sit in the back of the pub. If the weather is nice we may sit outside at the back of the pub, or even outside on the downstairs floor. In this meetup, you can BYOM (bring your own manga) or read one from the selection we will bring. See this as an opportunity to discover, recommend or simply enjoy Japanese comics & anime with like-minded people! Note: This is not a book club. Also, the TCR bar is kind enough to allow us to use their space to host this meetup, and has asked if possible for attendees to support the venue by purchasing a drink or food while you're there. We have a variety of games to play as well as the usual titles and favourites like Secret Hitler, Exploding Kittens and Uno so come on down if this sounds like fun to you! The session is Every Thursday 7PM till 10PM. This is for all levels, so after the training you will be able to play games and use what you have learnt. Just like the saying practice makes perfect.
