We're tentatively scheduled to start at The Shepherd & the Knucklehead of Hoboken, 1313 Willow Ave., and then we'll be walking around from there. On Saturday, October 31st, let’s enter the spooky era and watch the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade 🎃🧙‍♀️🔮👻 together. We’ll meet at 5:30pm (or as close to that as possible) on the West Side of 6th Ave and Vandam Street, outside Vought Tower [https://maps.app.goo.gl/T4WCrCTwiFm4zNhT6](https://maps.app.goo.gl/T4WCrCTwiFm4zNhT6) This location might change slightly if it’s very busy lol. We’ll announce changes on the day of. You can join whenever but keep in mind that there's gonna be a big crowd and it might be hard to find or join us after the beginning of the parade (we cannot save room for folks) We’ll be hanging out for a bit as the parade starts at 7pm on Canal Street. We’ll be there til 9pm. We will figure out restaurant plans afterwards. (The parade will continue until 11pm if you wanted to continue watching it) Very important: please allocate additional time to get to West Side of 6th Ave and Vandam Street as many train lines are rerouted and many stations will have entry and exits blocked. It can be challenging even crossing the street because of all the barricades that are put up. Looking to connect with other folks who love getting outdoors? Come meet new AMC friends on a walk around Roosevelt Island! Explore the mysteries and history of the island. We will walk at a leisurely pace for up to 2 hours on pavement for about 2 miles with a mere 42 feet elevation gain. We will be stopping at points of interest along the way. We will be stopping at the historic smallpox Hospital, a cat sanctuary, and pretty views of the NYC skyline. Wear sturdy walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a Halloween costume (optional). Bring 1 liter of water and snacks. If you are new to the AMC, this is a great starter event!
