First book club meeting!

Hello everyone! For the first TBR meeting, I want everyone to bring the book they think we should read for the month and create a short pitch explaining why. I want it to feel like a Shark Tank episode where everyone pitches their book! At the end of the meeting, we will vote for which book we would like to read for the month. I want this first meeting to be social and friendly. Bring your books and your pitches!

Along the way, we'll learn about the artists behind these works, the symbolism of the beaver in Canadian culture, and how art helps tell the story of a city. This is not a history tour or a lecture. Instead, it's an interactive experience where our goals are conversations, observation, and exploration. **Want to help bring your city’s community together?** We’re looking for local hosts to organize small group lunches, evening drinks, mixers, movie get-togethers and curated experiences. **No experience necessary,** just a friendly attitude, some local knowledge, and a willingness to meet a few new people. After each event, we’ll send a short feedback form so we can improve and support you.
