Welcome to Respawn’s Tournament Edition! 🛡️ This time it’s our fifth tournament special, we bring the classic Pokemon Stadium 64! We will do this usually on a Sunday once month. The tournament lasts 1.5-2 hours and may last longer depending on the players, starting at 12:30pm. 🥷 Nothing to worry about as it’s not serious, more casual. Prizes awarded to podium finishers worth $10-$40. Mandatory entry fee of $4 applies (does not include general entry to the Gamers Meetup). 🫶 RULES: • Registration Time: 12:30pm-1:30pm. • Tournament Start Time: 1:45pm. • All tournament participants MUST arrive by deadline 1:45pm. We cannot add players afterwards as it’ll cause confusion. • Format: 4 players versus each other. Swiss (If more than 8 players) & Round Robin (If there is less than 8 players). • Your name will be logged into our Challonge. • No Cheat codes. 1st Place: ??? 🥇 2nd Place: ??? 🥈 3rd Place: ??? 🥉 Will you be the champion of the Pokemon Stadium? 🏆 RSVP and DM us to officially register on our Challonge. Let us know which character you’re using! (Can only select one). Please arrive on time before 6:45pm. ☝️ You can also come hang out, meet fellow gamers, and enjoy a chill vibe with great food and drinks. Spectator game stations available!🥤 At the “Gamers Citadel”, we provide the consoles for you and this time have 2 multiplayer (2-4 player) game stations (A and B). For our board games area you are allowed to BYO! 😯 ♟️ Currently available are: Switch, PS1, PS2, SNES, N64, Cardfight!! Vanguard, Yu-Gi-Oh! and more! First-timers are always welcome, so if it's your first time, come along and say hi! Training type: Our focus is interval training, and we keep it fun and social. Free stuff for members! We sometimes line up sponsorships that align with our comunity, someties it's stuff like: free protein drinks and shakes, or discounted meals - and we often head out for dinner together after a run, or for special events. Exact location: The exact meeting location will be emailed to you once you register, so be sure to register beforehand. Training format / structure: 1: Easy 800m warm-up lap 2: Dynamic stretching and strides (20min) 3: Main workout — this rotates each week (sometimes hills, but most often it invovles intervals) Length: The whole session runs for about 50 minutes, followed by around 10 minutes of social talking.
