16 km. Moderate Hike to Fontainebleau by the river, from Bois-le-Roi. Fontainebleau is where Napoleon bid farewell to the Old Gard, before his first abdication in 1814. It will be a relaxing hike along the wildest part of the river, houseboats, islands, parcs and extravagant houses, then we will have a drink near the Fontainebleau Palace. We meet from **10:15 to 10:30 at the Gare de Lyon.** Hall 1, level 0, in front of the Big Fernand restaurant. it close to track L.**We take the 10:46 train to Bois-le-Bois, line R (free with your Navigo Pass zone 5)** Have your lunch and water with you. From Paris to Versailles: the Royal Path
