Hike to Fontainebleau by the Seine River

16 km. Moderate Hike to Fontainebleau by the river, from Bois-le-Roi. Fontainebleau is where Napoleon bid farewell to the Old Gard, before his first abdication in 1814. It will be a relaxing hike along the wildest part of the river, houseboats, islands, parcs and extravagant houses, then we will have a drink near the Fontainebleau Palace. We meet from **10:15 to 10:30 at the Gare de Lyon.** Hall 1, level 0, in front of the Big Fernand restaurant. it close to track L.**We take the 10:46 train to Bois-le-Bois, line R (free with your Navigo Pass zone 5)** Have your lunch and water with you. Fontainebleau est l'endroit où Napoléon fit ses adieux à la vieille garde, avant sa première abdication en 1814. Ce sera une randonnée relaxante le long de la partie la plus sauvage de la rivière, avec ses péniches, îles, parcs et maisons extravagantes, puis nous prendrons un verre près du Palais de Fontainebleau. 🌳 🌳 🌳 La forêt de la Commanderie est bien moins citée que la forêt de Fontainebleau, mais elle offre un paysage tout aussi exceptionnel. Avec ses rochers aux formes évocatrices, ses pins et leur senteur qui rappelle le Sud, ses chemins sablonneux moelleux sous les pieds, c’est une randonnée qui a tout pour plaire ! Le patrimoine n’est pas en reste au village de Larchant, avec sa basilique Saint-Mathurin. **27km pour** **272m de D+** **Allure 5km/h** 🌳 🌳 🌳 🕘 **Départ : RDV à la gare de Lyon Hall 1 à 8h00 en tête de quai du train en direction de Montargis.
