Ultimate Werewolf Comedy Show: Comedians vs. the Crowd

**ULTIMATE WEREWOLF COMEDY LEAGUE: COMEDIANS VS. THE CROWD** Come play—or watch—Werewolf, the social-deduction game similar to Mafia, reimagined as a live comedy tournament with professional comedians. Our first show was a really fun success, we sold out, thanks so much everyone for coming out to it! This second show is revamped and HALLOWEEN themed!! More audience participation, more comedy, new Halloween themed roles and Halloween costumes! Looking for Friday night spooky plans before Halloween? Come out and meet this great community. Please RSVP on meetup to connect with fellow attendees and show interest in the event but be aware Meetup RSVP does not guarantee a seat and is not your ticket. Please use the eventbrite link below for actual tickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ultimate-werewolf-comedy-show-tickets-2002915666676?aff=oddtdtcreator **TICKETS - $15** Seating and onstage player spots are limited. Limited discount tickets available now! Again, please buy tickets online here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ultimate-werewolf-comedy-show-tickets-2002915666676?aff=oddtdtcreator Part comedy show. Part social-deduction tournament. Complete chaos. Six professional comedians who have performed at venues including The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, and the Laugh Factory will compete across three live games of Ultimate Werewolf alongside volunteers selected from the audience. A few players will secretly be assigned as werewolves. Everyone else must identify them before the werewolves eliminate the entire village. Expect bluffing, accusations, alliances, betrayals, ridiculous defenses, and extremely confident decisions based on almost no information. PLAY OR WATCH Want to play? We save several onstage game spots for audience members who want to come and compete against the comedians. Prefer to watch? That works too. Follow the mystery, root for your favorite players, and try to identify the werewolves from your seat. Audience participation is completely optional, and no previous Werewolf experience is required. The rules will be explained, and each game will be hosted so the action is easy and fun to follow. The comedians will earn points throughout the tournament. The top three will qualify to return for the next show, and the evening’s champion will close the night with a victory stand-up set. WHAT TO EXPECT • Three fast-paced games of Ultimate Werewolf • Six professional comedians competing in a live tournament • Audience volunteers invited onstage to challenge them • Live hosting, commentary, interrogations, and eliminations • Points, rivalries, and a recurring league leaderboard • A stand-up set from the evening’s champion • Approximately two hours of comedy and social-deduction chaos Come play your favorite game in a fun new format—or sit back and watch professional comedians discover that being funny does not necessarily make them good at lying. **EVENT DETAILS** Doors: 7:45 p.m. Show: 8:00 p.m. Location: The Zebra Room Address: 5176 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 102, Los Angeles, CA 90029 Building: Historic Chaplin Studio Gate code: #5176 *Who will survive? Let The Giant Speak (a non-writing writing space)

What are you not saying? Not to your partner, not to your friends—not even to yourself. Every guy's got something he keeps almost bringing up, then leaving unsaid. **This isn't a writing group.** The writing is just the excuse—a way past the version of you that's gotten really good at managing what people see by managing what you say. You'll never once call yourself a writer here, and it won't matter, because the writing was never the point. *It's what's between the lines that is: your voice.* Here's how it works: Each week starts with a short practice to get you out of your head and into your gut. No overthinking, no performing, just instinct. Then you write. Then you read it out loud. Not for feedback, not for critique b/c that's not what this is for. I'll ask a few questions, more curious than corrective: What did you mean by that? What had that matter? What are you taking from what you wrote? Keep showing up and patterns start surfacing: the thing you keep almost saying, the thread you keep pulling without noticing. Every 8 weeks, we stop and look at all of it together, and ask what your voice has been trying to tell you the whole time. Can you say it out loud? Capped at 8 guys, so it stays a room, not an audience. Free. Weekly. Hollywood/West Hollywood (exact spot confirmed closer to the date). If this is landing right now, don't sit on it. RSVP. That's exactly the pattern this room exists to interrupt. *Hosted by Joshua Koenig, ontological coach, personal trainer, creative director and founder of The Giant in the Room.* *** **LOGISTICS** Day/Time: Tuesdays, 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM Location: Hollywood / West Hollywood (TBD, confirmed closer to launch) Launch: Friday, October 30 Format: In-person, weekly, ongoing 8-week cycles, capped at 8 guys Cost: Free

We will be playing both CASHFLOW® 101 and 202. For those who have not played it, CASHFLOW® 202 teaches those more experienced players advanced business and investing techniques used by technical investors by adding volatility to the game. It teaches the investment techniques of "short-selling stock", "put-options", "call-options", "straddles" and real estate exchanges. By playing the Cashflow board game, we can begin to truly learn how the money game is played and begin to change our thinking about what actions we need to take in order to truly be financially free. If you desire to promote your business, network with like minded individuals and learn the skills for building lifelong passive income streams you desire, this is your group. Who's Leading the Cashflow Games? Douglas Carver, Club Co-organizer Doug leads Cashflow 101. As an active local Realtor (*[www.LivingInWestLA.com](www.livinginwestla.com)*) and full time stock trader and investor, he loves helping people achieve their financial goals whether it be buying/ selling real estate or investing in the stock market. Chris Hanson, Club Co-organizer Chris leads Cashflow 202. He left his corporate job in 2002 to trade his own money full-time. Over the years, enough people kept saying, "show me how", so he developed "Profits On Wall Street". It's an educational firm specializing in teaching investors how to trade stocks and options. Learn more about him at *[www.ProfitsOnWallStreet.com](www.profitsonwallstreet.com)* 95% of achieving & maintaining time freedom is about the "how to think"...only about 5% is about the "how to do". He hosts a podcast called Investing From The Beach, where he discusses the "How to Think" aspects of achieving time freedom. The show can be found on iTunes or at *[www.InvestingFromTheBeach.com](www.investingfromthebeach.com)* I personally look forward to personally meeting you at our next event. Regards, Doug

A recommended (but optional) $5 donation will be requested from now on to help me cover the cost of the room rentals. and meetup fees. Either through cash or:
Venmo: @BrandonF51
Zelle: 7325973400 Location: Odyssey Games Pasadena Please only sign up if you are guaranteed to make it and can be there by 6:00 as we need an accurate head count for this game, thanks so much! Join the Los Angeles Ultimate Werewolf Game Meetup Group for a fun-filled evening of social deduction games! And now introducing thanks to our Blood Moderator Trevor: # 🩸 Blood on the Clocktower 🩸 **Blood on the Clocktower** is a social deduction board game where players take on secret roles in a haunted village. Most players are **good**, trying to identify and execute the hidden **Demon**, while a small **evil team** works together to deceive the town and eliminate players each night. Unlike games like *Werewolf* or *Mafia*, eliminated players **stay in the game**—they can continue discussing, voting, and influencing the outcome until the very end. Every player also has a unique character with a special ability, creating endless strategy, bluffing, and unforgettable moments. Whether you're a veteran or you've never played before, you're welcome! New players are encouraged to arrive a little early for a rules explanation before the first game begins. If you enjoy strategy games, deception, psychology, or trying to read people, you'll love Blood on the Clocktower. Come ready to lie, investigate, persuade... and maybe save the town.
