CHM - Soldering practice and circuit testing with an oscilloscope Part 2

Build a function generator and practice soldering at the same time. With a soldering kit that we provide, you will assemble a circuit that generates sine-waves, triangle-waves, and square-waves. Then you will test the circuit with an oscilloscope. This kit is a little above the beginner level, so we plan to extend this project into a second week. Once your function generator is working, you can pair up with another workshop participant and observe two function generators sending waves to an oscilloscope in "X-Y" mode. This pattern is called a Lissajoues Figure.

During the first part of the night, the Gist IRL app sets you up for a series of short one-on-one rounds with other locals who love discovering new sounds. It takes all the awkwardness out of mingling, giving us a super relaxed setting to talk about the best recent gigs and our favorite coastal spots. After the rounds wrap up, you'll pick the people you clicked with the most so you can keep hanging out. We'll group up and head out together to explore the art stalls and grab food truck bites right by the sand. By the end, you're strolling the festival and checking out local art with 4-6 people you just met but already like. Maybe they become your new go-to art walk and festival crew, or maybe it's just a perfectly spent evening by the ocean. The Plan: * 5:00 PM: Check-In. Reconnect with your favorite matches, form groups of 4-6, and head out in small groups to grab food truck bites and explore the art walk — your group leaves together tonight.
