Coworking Groups For Men

Connect and Collaborate with Men's Coworking Groups

Men's Group meetup

Men's Group meetup

Sat, Nov 7, 3:00 PM
From Columbus Mens Group
4.9

**The idea for this group is to build a community where men can gather together and build connections & learn and grow from each other.** How we start each meeting is by each of us checking in with our "roses and thorns" aka what are the good things and the bad things going on in your life recently? Then we will go into a topic discussion. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **COMMUNITY AGREEMENTS** \*\*THERE WILL BE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR NO-SHOWS. IF YOU RSVP TO A MEETING AND FAIL TO SHOW UP WITHOUT NOTICE, YOU'LL BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP. THIS IS TO PRESERVE THE INTEGRITY OF THE GROUP\*\* 1. Confidentiality - EVERYTHING that is shared NEVER leaves this space so that this space remains safe and sacred. There is a zero tolerance policy for this. If a man is in violation of this, they will be permanently removed from the group. 2. Non-Judgement - we respect and honor every man’s truth so that we may receive the same from others. While we may not agree on everything, we commit to respecting every man’s perspectives and engaging in honorable discussion with one another. 3. Be committed - honor your commitment to this group and to yourself. If you attend a meeting, please commit yourself fully to the meeting. Also be committed to your own journey. When we fail, we own it & clean it up. 4. Speak from the heart - this is NOT a space to “look good”, have the “right” answers, and have it all together. Relax and know you are not alone. Be exactly who you are within the safety of this space. 5. Be supportive - This means always willing to provide encouragement to your fellow men, encourage action and momentum in each other’s lives.. Be willing to challenge each other. Be willing to hold each other accountable. 6. Participation - what you receive from this community will be a reflection of what you put into it. Period. We ask that you share your perspectives, reflect on others, and give/receive support when and where it’s needed.

Back to Basics - Forward to the Future: What's Next for Central Ohio Agile

Back to Basics - Forward to the Future: What's Next for Central Ohio Agile

Thu, Oct 22, 9:00 PM
From TechLife Columbus
4.6

For years, the Central Ohio Agile Association (COHAA) has served as a cornerstone for IT and business professionals dedicated to finding better ways to inspire creativity and innovation in the delivery of value. But as workplaces, team dynamics, and expectations shift, our community needs to evolve right along with them. * Are your teams facing new forms of organizational friction? * Are traditional Agile frameworks and practices feeling stale, misunderstood, or bogged down by enterprise bureaucracy? * As the Agile landscape changes, let's discuss how our community can continue to provide meaningful connections, learning, and support. **What to Expect** Join us for a high-engagement, collaborative evening. Attendees will drive the agenda. We are gathering Central Ohio's practitioners, leaders, and change-agents to tackle the real challenges happening in our day-to-day work lives. Through a focused interactive conversation, we will consider three critical questions: 1. What dysfunctions are you seeing in the workplace right now? Where are teams getting stuck, and what roadblocks are slowing down delivery? 2. What do you actually need from an Agile user group today? How can COHAA serve as a practical, high-value resource for your career and organization? 3. How can we support each other moving forward? What formats, topics, or connections will make showing up worthwhile for you? *500pm-530pm* Connecting & Networking *530pm-630pm* Community Conversation *630pm* Following the conversation, stick around for open networking with fellow local professionals **Who Should Attend?** * Practitioners, Scrum Masters & Delivery Leads navigating daily team dysfunctions and looking for fresh tactics * Product Owners & Business Analysts trying to maximize business value in shifting environments * IT Leaders & Executives seeking better ways to scale agility and support their people * Anyone in Central Ohio passionate about continuous improvement and looking to help shape the future of our local Agile community Come ready to share your thoughts, vent your workplace frustrations, and help us build a stronger, more resilient community together!
