Take a guided walk through the Nature Reserve led by Andrew Lalchan (a local photographer). We will explore the park in early summer, when dragonflies and damselflies are abundant.
This walk offers opportunities to take nature photos, and Andrew will be on hand to provide advice. With the recent hot weather, summer is ahead of schedule, so there should be plenty of wildlife and growth.
As it's likely to be muddy in the park, strong footwear is needed.
Bring your mobile phone or DSLR camera with a zoom/macro/wide-angle lens.
We will meet at the Cassiobury Park Hub (Cedar Cafe) near the paddling pool. There is also car parking in the park, which is free; follow the instructions on the signs.
If you are coming from Watford Metropolitan tube station, it's a short walk to the park (5 - 10min).
Suitable for beginners, advanced photographers, and hobbyists alike.
