## Welcome to Warrington & Surrounding Areas Social Meetup!

Looking to get out, meet people, try something different and have a good time? You’ve come to the right place.

We’re a friendly, social group organising a wide variety of events in and around Warrington and the surrounding areas. There’s something for a wide range of interests, whether you enjoy getting out and about, relaxing with good company or trying something new.

Our events include:

• Live music and concerts
• Meals and social drinks
• Cinema, theatre and comedy nights
• Walks and days out
• Quizzes and social evenings
• Weekends away
• Discos and Christmas parties
• Attending sporting events
• Charity fundraising events
• And plenty of other activities and social events throughout the year

You don’t have to be interested in everything — simply pick the events that appeal to you. Our aim is to provide opportunities to meet new people, make friends, enjoy yourself and take part in activities you enjoy.

We’re always open to new ideas, so if there’s an event or activity you’d like to see us organise, please let us know. If you’d like to host an event yourself, we’d also be pleased to hear from you.

### Membership

Annual membership is £5.00, which helps cover the cost of the Meetup host site. Once your payment has been received, your membership will be approved and you can start joining our events.

Annual membership fees are due during November each year.

Payment can be made to an existing member, co-organiser or organiser.

New join requests that remain unpaid will be withdrawn after 2 months. You are welcome to reapply in the future, but the £5.00 membership fee will then be required before your membership can be approved.
